This game took me on a roller coaster of emotions (against my will), one moment I was tearing up with a wholesome scene, then I was shaken by a big revelation, then I was back to a warm and fuzzy scene to be taken BACK TO ANOTHER BIGGER TWIST. Kudos to the developers, really.
I thought the replay part of the game would be a bit boring, but honestly this game was NEVER boring, the moment you get comfortable they pull the rug out from under you (I honestly don't know why people think this game is comfy).
I can't forget to mention that the voice acting by Kirsten Mize was amazing, it really helped with the immersion.

This game made me remember why I used to love turn-based combat games. I have to be honest and admit that I hated the protagonist at first, she felt very flat and had very shallow justifications as to why she was going on this adventure, but after following the story and seeing her grow (both literally and as a character) I ended up falling in love with her and her humor.

One thing that could be negative is that once you understand the combat mechanics, grind and train enough, the battles weren't really that hard, which can take some of the fun out of the game.

It has a really fun story with cute graphics, it made me laugh with a bunch of jokes, wordplay and dialog, and there are even some interesting twists along the way. I recommend you save often as you might want to do quick replays to get all the achievements.
The music is fantastic, usually I get bored and turn off the music when it gets repetitive or isn't interesting enough, but here I enjoyed the sound design for the different areas and setting the different moods. I would have liked to have the ability to lower the volume though.

It feels like when I played animal crossing, only you can interact with your neighbors and learn their stories in a deeper way. The rain sounds and crackling of bonfire makes it extra cozy.

Kind Words is a wholesome "game". You write anonymous letters either asking for help or answer peoples problems. Considering how 2020 is going and the world is burning it’s a nice place for comfort, either getting it or giving it back.
I have to say it won't replace therapy, but it can help those who need that push to finally go. It can also help you feel better by helping others with day to day problems. It’s really a different space, the music is really nice and soothing, really fitting the atmosphere of the game.
They do a great job keeping trolls and toxic letters at bay. I have sent at least 10 letters and I haven’t gotten a single bad answer to them.

This is the reason I have trust issues.
