I personally enjoy it on multiple levels. The visuals are really good, I love the remixed soundtrack, and the level design makes for a smooth (if not too easy) experience.

The aspect of reimagining the original game sucks tbh. They cut out a bunch of really atmospheric locations that should be included for proper RC experience, and you speed through few important locations in the opening portion of the game. It doesn't offer too many new locations to compensate for that.

It does offer some new stuff tho, some of it is okay and the ending does makes up for the cut content a bit. The characters are a bit more pleasant than I expected compared to re2.

A good game

Istotna gra z punktu widzenia filozoficznego. Ukazuje tendencję człowieka do rywalizacji w celu osiągania korzyści kosztem drugiego. Jest nią niekończąca się wspinaczka ku szczytom ludzkich możliwości, dóbr materialnych i uznania społecznego. Rywalizacja kończy się w momencie, gdy wszyscy współzawodnicy poupadali lub nie zdołali nadąrzyć z morderczym tempem narzuconym przez zwycięzcę, który wspiął się na szczyt. Jest to groteskowa parodia współczesnego społeczeństwa, ciągle zabieganego i chcącego wydrzeć od życia jak najwięcej się da nie bacząc na innych.

Są w niej również kręcące się siusiaki ale to temat na inny czas.

Not the best game, but isn't a bad one either. And as I see it, more people grew fonder of it as the time passed.
I personally feel that the game received too much criticism on its release. And sure, lots of it were well justified, but it doesn't mean the game is bad. It was just dissapointing.

But judging it on its own, its a refreshing throw back into the older days. Recycling healthbars, giving a few not-so-but-still game changing gadgets and (with later patches) expanding the carried arsenal capacity. Also kinda ditching the cover-based gamplay.
