Much like the game, this soundtrack is something special...

Jason Willey (of Riot Games' audio team and the guitarist of the virtual band Pentakill) is bringing his talents over to Forever Winter...

The game itself already looks like a fusion of Zdzisław Beksiński and Simon Stålenhag's art (if he was on high on Krokodil) and this soundtrack perfectly breathes life into that digital dystopic hellscape.

Layering gritty beats (bangers too) that use sampled gun/reload sfx over haunting whines of electric guitar, violins, synths, (and occasional scream)and it sounds incredible. Tracks like "Into the Storm" sound like they were ripped straight from the Terminator soundtrack; adding a hint of nostalgia to spice up that sense of dread.

Every track amplifies the Forever Winter's setting, ya know, where the trenches house the horrors of both man and machine...yeah, the score transforms these battlefields into a living, breathing nightmare.

Long story short - I can't f**king aim straight if I'm constantly nodding my head to the beat...
