The game aged poorly, controls are ♥♥♥♥, graphically it is okay-ish.
Nostalgia was not enough of a factor for me to continue playing this.
TR Anniversary plays a lot better than any game of this package.

Even after 3 years since its release, this game is still full of bugs. Audio desyncs, disappearances of all projectiles (yours and enemies), in-game loot filters that hide loot they should've been showing, soft locks both for optional objectives and final boss (yeah, you read it right - little crapstain ran away with a sliver of health)

One of those games which is better to be "played on youtube".
Idea is cool and the game itself has Remedy's vibe (Alan Wake and Control, primarily).

It's the realization where it's lackluster. The game plays like a sprinter whose shoelaces get constantly untied and he needs to stop and tie them back. Constant frame drops (60 down to 20) and input lag don't make it a pleasant journey it's got potential to be. Just a bad console port.

The gameplay loop is nothing to write home about either: get from point A to point B, with slight platforming along the way -> shoot some bad guys while trying to use powers, miss time-stop-bubble, use dash + time focus instead -> watch a cutscene -> make a binary decision by the end of the act -> watch live action (a tv show) for ~20 minutes (which is actually not bad, but gameplay counter-weighs it).

Want a good game - look elsewhere. "Nier: Automata", "Bayonetta", "Devil may cry".
This game makes you cringe on every its aspect:
- characters are boring
- story is meaningless
- gameplay is clunky

Graphics is gorgeous. Optimization seems about right.

The story is captivating (although the main plot twist is spoiled near the conclusion). Previous games in a series didn't make you care that much about other characters, this one does

The biggest downside is alack of boss fights (IIRC season of infamy introduced a killer croc fight and that's it).

DLC are kind of meh (~30 min long content packs + bunch of challenge packs)
