Team-based FPS that requires teamwork and strategy, rather than mindless running and gunning. Camping is baked into the gameplay, so there's no comlaining about the inevitable camper, since your characters come equipped to deal with them. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ get something right every now and then.

Community's about as toxic as any other online FPS, though.

It's a good game. Modders are just throwing a tantrum because after years of ruining the fun of the legit players by PKing in god-mode and setting off server-wide explosions so no one else could play in freeroam until they server-hopped Take-Two finally took away their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ toys. Cry me a river.

Take a Nap simulator, 10/10 would watch Hercules nap again.

This is probably the first game I love that I'm gonna give a negative review, because I have to be honest with myself. It calls itself Fallout...but it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ not. It's an open world FPS with dialogue options and multiple endings. There's no maintainingg your weapons (modding the weapons is fun, though) there's no real way to be a villain...It's being Bethesda'd just like the Elder Scrolls series, and the fans really need to get the message to Bethesda that we want them to go back to their roots. Stop dumbing games down!!!

In terms of FPS games, this is an awesome FPS, and if it weren't called Fallout 4 (call it, Hero of the Wasteland or something, lol) it'd be 9/10.

Unfortunatelly it is called Fallout 4, and as a part of the Fallout series it sticks out like a sore thumb. You can tell the devs were either really bored and just anxious to get it over with, or they were being rushed, because they didn't really put their hearts into the plot or the factions system. I say factions system, but what I mean is "the factions you can interact with but in a very linear way."

But let me get to the heart of why I'm giving this a thumbs down: Achievements are disabled if you've modded your game. Even if it's just one texture mod, or the unofficial patch (which seems to be a necessary component to every Bethesda game since Morrowind because the devs can't be relied on for ♥♥♥♥) nope, achievements are disabled, sux2bu if you're like me and have steam set to automatically update the game so you didn't see the patch notes. Then they jack up the price of the season pass and try to shove their own new modding site down our throat...pls stop trying to be EA.

If you're gonna get this, get the Fallout 4 Script Extender and the mod to reenable achievements...then download the full dialogue interface so you can see just how identical all the dialogue options are, and when you're done write to Bethesda and tell them to stop pissing on their loyal fanbase's collective childhoods before we all come to their office building and ♥♥♥♥ on their doorstep.

TL;DR - it's fun as ♥♥♥♥ but it doesn't live up to other titles in the franchise 'cos Bethesda's getting lazy, ♥♥♥♥ them.

I'm pretty sure this game is a big part of why Steam updated the review system to show "overall" and "recent" reviews. Upon launch this game was apparently unplayable due to how poorly it was ported to PC, and hopefully the flack WB Games got for it will teach developers in the future to show more care for their PC releases...however, the game itself (once the bulk of the bugs were worked out) is actually pretty fun.

As usual, the storyline is solid. The Arkham games in general have been some of the best adaptations of Batman from the comics ever. And Batman rarely translates well from the comics.

After Scarecrow got his face chewed off by Killer Croc in Arkham City, he's come back for revenge on Batman, and this time he's brought along a new player, the Arkham Knight. The Arkham Knight is someone we haven't seen in the Arkham series before, but if you're familiar with the comics, you'll have fun trying to figure out who it is behind the mask, and why they're hell bent on destroying Batman.

As with every other game, Riddler's been leaving trophies and graffiti around town, but this time he's got a hostage, you have to complete various challenge levels with Catwoman to help her defuse an explosive collar, and you're able to switch between the two in real-time to help them work together more efficiently. This feature is also present whenever you're fighting alongside Robin.

There are more toys, this time around. The Batarangs, Batclaw, Line Launcher and Explosive Gel are still there, but this time you also get a voice synthesizer to command henchmen around for Predator challenges (until they inevitably catch on to the deception), a disruptor (which I think may have also been in Arkham City, I'm not sure), the Remote Hacking Device has more utility this time around and you can even call in the Batmobile to whereever you are in the city, even if you left it way on the other end of the map, it seems to always conveniently be just around the corner. But I won't complain.

There are street battles against the Arkham Knight's tanks, there's environment takedowns during fight sequences, there are car chases, there's an even wider variety of takedown methods...there's just so much more to the (presumably) final installation of the Arkham series...so if you liked the previous games but are worried it's just more of the same, worry not. It's totally worth it. And if you're apprehensive because of how buggy everyone said it was at launch, don't worry, it's fine now. I only had one issue my entire time playing it, and I'd practically beaten the game by the time it happened, I started clipping through buildings. Just reloading from a previous save fixed it, I only lost a couple minutes of gliding through the city, no big deal.

I give it an 8.5/10, I really liked this damn game.

Literally the only bad reviews on this game are due to the insane amounts of DLC. Simple solution: Do not buy this game unless the base game and all the DLC are on a massive sale (75% or higher).

I grabbed this game when I saw it and a bunch of the DLC together were on sale for as low as $32. Then a few months later it was on sale again so I got a couple more DLC packs for $8 to round it out (Charlemagne and Way of Life). Let me just say those last 2 add more fun to an already fun game.

It's not worth about $200, or however much the game and all the DLC costs...but when you get a massive discount it is worth about $40. It can be annoying at times, and the Ironman mode is a pain in the ass, but when you usurp titles, conquer neighboring nations, and loot and pillage to build your empire, the satifaction is so immense. And the sheer amounts of tail these pagans pull, yeah that's nice too.

When I first saw someone else playing this game over twitch I was like "meh." But I went ahead and got it from the Firaxis bundle and after playing it for just a few minutes I was hooked. It's more than just a turn-based strategy war game...it's got management sim aspects too.

It really just appeals to my desire to come up with characters and mini-stories in my games. Naming the characters yourself, and deciding how they behave in battle, and coming up with nicknames for them is just the icing on the cake of a really fun game.

I understood that it's a casual game but I thought it'd be a little more involved than this. Way too repetitive, and the story is definitely not interesting enough to warrant the time-sink.

Pretty exciting game! Admittedly 3 was a recent low point in the Assassin's Creed games, and 4 borrows a lot from it but honestly I think it's returning to the days of Brotherhood in terms of quality. The main aspect of this game is the naval combat feature pioneered in 3, and it's been improved upon. This time you're a pirate and you can ravage and loot any ship you come across. You're confined to a square of ocean with islands scattered about but it has plenty of side missions on those islands. You can hunt wildlife (but you don't have to) and you can create a fleet of pirate ships to do naval missions for you (similar to the assassin missions in the prior 3 games).
The story may not be as engaging as the original base games (and let's be honest, that's been a problem in the past few AC games) but in terms of fun, this game is quite that. My one complaint, however, is that it tends to crash on me at least once every playing session and I cannot figure out why.

The multiplayer's better than Revelations but still not as good as Brotherhood. Way too much DLC, and I've always thought DLC was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, you should have bulk expansions or none at all. The game itself has a decent story, fun missions. The scenery isn't as good as 15th Century Rome, but the tree-running and hunting is an interesting way to kill time when you're bored. There's ass-tons of glitches and spazzing ragdolls that melt into chimneys or rocket into the air and it's kinda cheesy that you can kill people by kicking or throwing them into walls, but rope-darts are so amazingly fun and the naval missions are brilliant. Oh, also, they changed the free running mechanic so that anytime you run, you automatically go into free running, and they changed the use button to the counter button, so when I started playing it, I felt more comfortable using my Logitech controller than the keyboard and mouse, which resulted in another interesting bug. Whenever I'd go back to a checkpoint during a mission it would change my left analog stick and the d-pad for a few seconds, then automatically switch back after using one or the other for a few seconds. Which would result in me trying to run, but instead bringing up the weapon wheel. If I'd automatically use the analog stick, I'd start running then stop a few seconds later as the game recognized the correct button assignment. The only way I could find to fix that was to use both the weapon wheel and the d-pad at the same time if I ever restarted a mission. So anyway, if you like the Assassin's Creed games at all I'd recommend this over Revelations. But I'll admit it's not got ♥♥♥♥ on Brotherhood.
