Why would you have such a high amount of motion blur every time you move the mouse to look around!? How am I supposed to aim when every time I move the mouse slightly towards the direction of what is trying too kill me the whole screen goes blurry!? Why did I bother buying this game!? What possessed me to buy this... It sounded like an interesting game but it's not. It's boring, the character sucks, the control system is bad, the motion blur OMG! I tried to play this game but I couldn't, it's awful. The scenery is pretty though, that's a plus!

I bought this game for myself and some friends because I thought it would be a lovely, quirky game to play. So far I have been nothing but frustrated by the gameplay. Don't get me wrong, it isn't all bad and I do enjoy it. I just find the levels so difficult to complete that it takes the fun out of it for me. The drop items are quite fun, but unless you play a higher difficulty they are crap. The enemies are well animated and create a diverse and dynamic game, unless you play at anything over the easiest difficulty then you get swarmed and die, a lot. There is a good online element as you can play senerios that other members have created, which can result in some interesting storylines. However the game is so difficult to complete that I just cried and now have no energy to try again.

Play it if you enjoy a challenge and can actually overcome it. Don't play if you have any tendency to rage quit like I do.

Age of Empires holds a huge chunk of my childhood and my heart. I loved this game now and damn do I still love it now. I just cannot get bored of it! I accidently exploded my disk of the game so having it on Steam is a god send, my brother and my Dad both play it on here too, we all love the game! The Forgotten is an awesome expansion and adding the new civilisations help to create an new interest in the game. If you played this game originally in 1999 or 2000 then you already know why you need to play AoE. If not then come out from under your rock! The new campaigns in the expansion are a bit of a let down, there is no voice acting, which was a fun quirk from the original game, however the content is still great. Although games may seem repetitive, the choice of civilisations and single player game modes help to keep the game interesting and fun. I hope that my children's children will still be playing AoE.

This game is cute, and I hate to use the word cute to describe it but it is cute, plain and simple. The character, Gomez, is loveable with his cute animations whenever you find something or pick something heavy up (there we go again with the whole cute thing). However, the reason this game is so cute is because it can be frustrating as hell! It's a challenging game and you get lost or can't quite make that jump and keep dying (or at least I was) to the point of rage, then you see the cute little animation and you're in love with the game again. The use of 3D in a 2D world is amazing and really adds something very unique to the game. It's the perfect platform, puzzle, cutesy, rage game in my opinion and everyone should be playing it :D

There is a lot of reading in this game, but don't let that stop you because the story is quite something. The characters and story telling is great and I found that I was really enjoying myself. There's so much to do within the game that one playthrough just isn't enough!

This is such a simple yet fun game that also offers some challenges. The voice acting is brilliant, really adds something different to this game as you find yourself empathising with coloured blocks. It really is a great little game :D
