A very decent game. Overall I liked the experience and I can confidently recommend the game to anyone looking for an engaging story and somewhat simple but fun turn-based combat.

+Great art

+Fun characters
+Built/setup variety
+Decently paced

-BUGS! Several late game quest bugs bricked progression on unlocking some of the ultimate abilities as well as legendaries (the mistwalker quest for example).
-While the story overall is good, there are several abrupt plot endings and cheesy dialogue that brings it down slightly.
-On normal it feels like Yasuo trivialisses the combat quite a bit by just brute forcing

A really great game building on top of ideas presented in now dead Arkham series.

What. A. Game.

I just finished my first playthrough and I can't recommend it enough. Without the spoiling anything the game's story has depth AND width. Its engaging, intriguing and overall great. Why are you still reading this? GOGO, play it!

The game is a solid survivor style game. It has a solid graphics style and clearly outlined enemies and indicators.

The downsides of it are that the variety of available weapons FEELS small and the card acquisition system is not necessarily intuitive.

I am mostly at the tail end of the game right now and I will have to say its pretty great. If you do not like Path of Exile because of the endless, unrewarding grind and think that the game limits your agency, then Lootun is a game for you.

In Lootun you get to customise most of the combat loop of your auto battling party, the farther you go, the more agency in the customisation of your gear you unlock, ending up in satisfying gameplay loop where your characters will end up with Best in Slot Equipment made by your own hand rather than praying for RNG to bless you over extended period of time.


Pros:

+Agency with items and abilities
+Clear and concise glossary
+Straightforward, yet extensive progress paths

Cons:
-I wish I could use custom avatars for my characters
-Lack of a pure healer class/ability, it would be a fun option to have.


All in all the game only lacks some 3rd party customisation like custom avatars and maybe custom content editor when you are done with the main game's progression. The developers should consider mod support, it would go a long way.

The game is a really fun sandboxy-rpgish-TPS, online mode allows for some fun interactions but is STUPIDLY grindy.
