This game is under polished and nowhere near completion, and as a result it needs more time before I would say its release ready. SIGNIFICANTLY more time.

But damn, it feels so good despite it being so jank. The story is corny but corny cheesy in that Top Gun kind of way where it's showing age before it's even released, and weirdly that's not a bad thing.

The gameplay is really compelling too, the outpost defence coupled with map exploration is a really neat design loop, and I would love to see this development continued.

Asthetically it's OK, a bit ugly crossed with pretty (I can't make sense of it) but passable with weirdly good movement animations and weirdly ♥♥♥♥ facial animations. I will say though the outpost parts of the mission (Recovery Day, any other tower defence point) is stunning with the absolute barrage of bullets going into the swarm of enemies.

The voice acting is decent-to-arse but there's some charm there.

The music is pretty mid, not bad but nothing that's really unique or emphasise the story or gameplay beats, it's something I'd like to see remade at some point because coupled with everything else I have a feeling that this really could be a memorable game, but at the moment it's unfinished and completely forgettable.

For the developers, you really should have marked this as early access. Not only because it's woefully underpolished, but also you've missed out on the second release boost in marketability for when it's finally at a nice to release state.

Overall, I would say buy this game if you'd look forward to a decent action story experience with interesting gameplay that you could see yourself revisiting every couple of months. If you're the kind of one and done player, wishlist/follow it and wait for the more complete and polished game.

Been waiting for this game for years, and weirdly it genuinely has not disappointed in any aspect.
Everything is so in scene, and it's bloody beautiful to just hear all the sounds of the little town you've been growing.
Hoping to sink more hours into this.

I don't remember owning or playing this game in the slightest, thumbs up I guess?

At first I thought that this game would be too complicated for me to dive into, then I sank 7 hours into it first night.
Planning to sink at least a couple more, absolutely would recommend.

God I wish I was as productive normally then when I use this.
I have a paper due in about 3 weeks and I've struggled to write a single thing over 3 weeks, but suddenly I use this and I bang out 2,000 words plus research in two days.

10/10, highly recommend, not sure why it works.

Good game, interesting concepts, weak but completely understandable ending.
Overall, recommended.

A fun little roguelite that wears it's inspiration on it's sleeve and I absolutely love it. Writing at times is a little bit cringe (mostly the assassin, you'll know why) and overuses punctuation (sorceress this time), but this wonderful little mix of Hades, Diablo, and Vampire Survivors is right up my alley and I'd recommend anyone else who likes all three to give it a try.

I've genuinely never had more fun laughing with/at friends while simultaneously absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ myself both on field and behind a desk seemingly at safe.

This really doesn't feel like SCP or a game, just a collection of cut scenes by an arguably incompetent containment company.
