At Uni the friend group I'm in occasionally talks about anime. I don't engage that much to not look like a weeb infront of a girl who I'm putting the moves on
However recently I got a little drunk and the conversation turned to Boruto. A lot of them are casuals and actually like it, which is fine however one said Boruto was as good if not better than Naruto and the haters are just virgins. I don't remember what I said but I disagreed with him. I ended up getting riled up and went on admittedly overly aggressive rant about it ruining naruto's legacy and pointed out a lot about the production and things that most would consider minor I think I went on for way too long to the point where things got awkward because I got way too into it and I even teared up a little
