Good fun.

The samey corridors and rooms in the first two levels can make it frustrating to find the exit, but that's my only real gripe with it.

This game is begging, screaming, kicking for invincibility frames. There are no i-frames when you dodge, there are no i-frames when you die and switch to the other character and there are no i-frames when you get hit. This one is the weirdest. Some enemies put down spike traps, if they put it at your feet you'll just get hit what looks like every other frame, get a hit animation just as often and struggle to get out of it. They balanced the damage so that it doesn't instantly murder you but it feels wrong.
It doesn't feel like a conscious decision, it just feels like they forgot or didn't know about i-frames.

As for the dodge, a lot of the fights are a hectic mess of AoEs where you end up dodging one to end up in another. some i-frames when dodging would make this game feel so much better and satisfying.

My other issue was dying during some quests. I will accept having to restart a multi-phase boss from the first phase, I will not accept having to go through a random obstacle course just before the boss again and all of the cutscenes/dialogue in between each phase. This is just not acceptable, there's no reason this should happen.

I would forgive the poor writing and the basic, repetitive combat if the little the game gave us felt better. I enjoyed my time for the first few hours but when the game gets harder and messier, it just doesn't feel good.

It's not terrible but I'm not sure I would really recommend it. The puzzle design is mostly fine, though the difficulty curve is very strange. Some of the hardest puzzles were surprisingly early, I found.

The level design for the bits in between the test chambers is not great. I often found myself having no idea where I was supposed to be going. I was firing portals at obvious white walls hoping it would lead me somwhere. I wasn't working towards a clear goal, I was fumbling around.
There was one a bit where you're traversing a maze-like office floor in the dark with a glados core directing a light directly at you. It sounds interesting, in practice I was kind of lost, everything looked the same and I didn't know what was in front of me.

I didn't really find anything outright terrible but a bunch of little things slowly eroded the fun I had with it.

It made me realize how incredible the two portal games are.

I don't feel like I need to add to the cash shop issue, so I'll talk about the rest.

The game is a bit dull. For reference, I played 10 hours and I have just reached act 5 out of 10 I think.

The one cool mechanic is the skill system where you get to place your skills and some modifiers on an hexagonal grid. Unfortunately, at act 5 I still don't have the one skill that I wanted to build around and I can't get more than 3 links to my current skills. So I mostly don't interract with it.

I barely get any gear upgrades. I'm level 33 and I changed my bow twice, The second one is barely better than the previous one. It doesn't make for an exciting time. All of my loot gets recycled into parts (because selling them barely gives any gold, which kind of worries me for the end game).

The passive tree is terribly boring. The most exciting I've seen so far is +1 charge to movement skills. You'll mostly get 10% damage, 2% attack speed, things like that. No big passive with interestnig drawbacks that could really change how you play as far as I can tell.

The level design and visuals are quite bland too. There's this one area on a wall where you're defending against some kind of giant, that stood out. Otherwise everything blurs together in a brown and grey mess.

The bosses are fine.

I wouldn't recommend it unless you really want to play something new in the genre. The skills feel satisfying enough, but the overall experience is mostly forgettable.

I'm having constant arguments with myself and died of a heart attack by sitting in an uncomfortable chair once.

Would recommend.
