I'm having a blast with this game so far and I haven't even touched the multiplayer yet only have been playing the campaign. Just from the time I've spent I can say that this blows payday 3 out of the water. The bots aren't brain dead and are actually fairly useful and its so much more intuitive to give them commands compared to payday 3. For the price on discount 15.99 with DLC included its very much worth it. I played Payday 3 on gamepass and I still feel ripped off even though I didn't buy the game.

At first I really enjoyed it I knew it was challenging going into it and at first it seemed fair but the more i played the more ridiculous it got. When I went into a mission unprepared I understood what went wrong so I started trying to play smarter and I started getting far my clone was starting to getting pretty strong I started getting better armor and weapons and I stuck to missions with lower difficulty and at times the tier 3-4 difficulty. I then decided to start fighting the quasimorph faction so they wouldn't get strong and i started with a tier 2 difficulty mission on mars which that and its moons are considered the more beginner friendly areas. I had power armor which i thought was fairly good since i was able to complete a few 4-5 tier difficulty missions with it and I thought it wouldn't be an issue for a tier 2 difficulty, I start the mission get to a door and go into sneak mode and i see that there is a enemy in that room a few spaces away from the door so i position myself at an angle to be able to shoot it while keeping cover then switch back to the normal stance as soon as i opened the door the enemy immediately jumped 3 spaces and one shot me and this is where the game went downhill for me. I started noticing how tedious it can get having to grind back my better gear playing missions where you need to go through 5 floors facing 30-60 enemies each floor my equipment constantly breaking, while i still have another 20 guys running through the door and regardless how good your equipment is by the time you finish the first floor it is either broken or getting close to it and each time your clone dies the small class buffs/levels i guess is what its going for get wiped so like in games like a rouge like even when you lose you still feel a sense of progression you dont get that here you just lose your good gear than lose any of the small improvements you gained keeping that character alive. Also there isn't any leveling where your mercenary will have stat improvements or way to increase the base stats if your clone has 70 hp it will stay at 70 hp, if you want your ranged merc to get better at melee when they run out of ammo you cant what they start with stays. Even if you progressed far with one faction you cant just go to them and buy the equipment again. You need to go through missions pray you find some good barter goods, pray you dont get killed while you have to start again naked, with 6 inventory slots where you may have 4 filled with medical supplies and food, then hope rng will let them need that good, and if they do you pray to rng again to hope that the 1% chance to get shotgun shells rolls in your favor. This game has a lot of potential and I did enjoy the majority of the time i played but I cant say its worth getting until there has been some more balancing and progression improvements.

The game itself is fine but the dlc is insane half of the units you would expect in the base game factions are locked behind paywalls. You want a chrimea buy one of the unit packs, oh you want tempest scions you gotta buy another pack for that, you like land raiders well pull out that wallet. The total cost of getting all the DLC is practically buying a combat patrol box for the actual models. If they had at least bundled all the packs as one and charged $5 i wouldnt be as bothered. But lets say you want to get the tau dlc well your still not getting all the units after you dropped your $15 you still are gonna need to buy those unit packs on top. That $15 gets you a partial faction and if you want the rest of it drop another $20.

Intro:
Is this a bad game, overall ignoring the horrible performance and constant stuttering no. Is this a scary game, no unless this if the first horror game you've played. Comparing this to dead space since its obviously very similar, the creatures present no sort of fear to me. It honestly reminds me more of the Last of Us, just people looking like they got elephantiasis, but dead space had creatures that just the look of itself regardless of pop ups or tense scenes made you uncomfortable or presented some sort of fear. Even during pop ups I showed no reaction other than annoyance due to the pop up being an enemy that will end up hitting you and taking HP away from you and you can't avoid taking damage.

Game Play:
Speaking of health dear god is it the most obnoxious and tedious healing mechanic. Lets say you are in a high tense situation fighting multiple enemies, you took a couple hits and before you move onto the next you need to heal. Well that ain't gonna happen you character needs to sit down pull the injection out slowly put it in his neck and let it release. A solid at least 5-15 seconds (probably not as long as 15 but long enough to be worthless to do) and by the time your character sits down the next enemy has already taken you out. The combat isn't bad but I personally don't like the feel of it but that's just me, if you played the last of us you'll get a similar melee combat experience to it. Also other than healing your character does everything so slow and its filled with crawl and squeeze through tight spaces or dramatic door opening where you have to force the door open and keep pressing E, while you force it open.

Story:
I can't say much about this since i haven't played long enough or finished the game to say much. But generally it seems fine and does pull some interest for me.

TLDR;
I haven't played enough for my opinion to matter and I also didn't even buy the game, I got it from a promotion when I upgraded my computer parts. But the fact I don't really make reviews and the times I have, I made some stupid joke but i still went out of my way to make one for this game should be a warning.

Its a great game to binge Adderall on highly recommend to play this while abusing it.

I havent played a lot of VR games but from the few i have probably the most fun ive had while working out

Door Cutting Simulator 2015

Been looking for a real good Door cutter but I think my search has finally paid off. The noise the cutter makes when hitting the metal of the door. The way the door burns with fire when you cut it. Those who are looking for Door Cutters look no further.

Like it says in the title prepare to die. This game is tons of fun great RPG completly worth it and while is discounted very worth it prepare to get really angry at constantly dying
