Fistful of Frags is the only fps I even care to play anymore.

"Cowboys" as many of me and my friends often call it is not nearly as competitive or fast-paced as other, more timeless games preferred by progamers. Compared to CS or COD the gameplay is more creative, less-repetitive, and the level design encourages and evokes the kind of shootouts you might expect in a spaghetti western. While it is more in the "fun" fps range than it is serious competition (the item pickup and whiskey drinking are glitchy at times, nearly broken) I don't find the play to be the Sisyphisian nightmare of, say, TF2.

If you play this game for a few hours and aren't immediately turned off by the general ♥♥♥♥♥♥ playstation 2 graphics or the quirky scoring, rules, and weaponry, you'll see that this is a fps that knocks socks off of some of the really big names. It's kind of nice to see the same, familiar flat-brimmed hat Clint Eastwood shooting at you from every direction on a sparsely dressed spaghetti western set anyway. It makes sense. The game feels right.
