If you're like me and you love pixel-art and would like to dabble in 3D but the available software for it just seems too large and complex for the small stuff you want to do, picoCAD is your best bet.

With a manual of just a bit over 10 pages, picoCAD does a great work of keeping things small and simple, both in size and difficulty. If you pair it up with Aseprite for texturing, things just get even more natural. I could sing praises all day but, honestly, for the tiny price it has, you're better off trying it out for yourself.

PicoCAD is the 3D software I have always been waiting for.

Literally the only roguelike that has ever hooked me.

The amount of races, classes and achievements available make the replayability of the game very broad, it has a fully functinoal 4-player multiplayer mode that balances itself out and, on top of that, as of the time of writing this review (9 years after release!) it's still receiving free updates.

The only thing I would wish of this developer is that they'd release something new so that I could give them more of my money.

Played just a bit but honestly pretty damn fun. Looks like it would definitely benefit from more people playing it so you can expand your music catalogue or make your own. A level auto-generation would be awesome though, probably the only thing it lacks because the game looks awesome down to the menus.

22 hours (as of this review) might not seem like a lot to put in a game to review it, but I think that's plenty for a VR game review. I bought this before 1.0 and the steep price change. I had lots of fun with it before 1.0 came through, and granted, I'll probably still have lots of fun now that 1.0 has launched. But I cannot for the love of god recommend you purchase this game at full price.

As of the time of this review, Index controllers have LOST THE ABILITY TO HOLD TO GRIP. It's not that they haven't implemented, it's that they have DELETED IT in favor or PSVR2 not having it, and the workaround is to rebind it to something else, which is not even a workaround because it doesn't change anything other than the bindings. The justification for this? Simple: "If you play for too long, the game will bring you intense fights, and your fingers will hurt from holding your weapon." That's both dumb and untrue, and even if it were true, just make it an option?

There's also the thing that WMR (Windows Mixed Reality) controls don't work at all right now and there's still no solution, because it's a great idea to launch the biggest update the game has seen and go on vacation immediately.

If you go to the developer's discord and read the post they made, there's a LOT of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on the modding scene, as well as a very clear shift from "we care about PCVR, thank you for bringing us to where we are" towards "PSVR2 is the future and that's what we care about now!" which is such a weird and insane twist.

Because of all of this I can't really play with most of my friends whose systems are WMR and some people who play with Index (including me) just cannot get used to using toggle grip instead of hold grip, it literally goes against the controls.

I really hope that all of this can get fixed, because it's not a bad game, but you cannot pretend to be a crusader for indie development, charge 55$ and take away features, as well as not address issues in the form of hotfixes after the launch of your biggest update. That's downright hypocritical.

If the game doesn't get to a better state soon, I'm honestly fighting whomever I need to to get my money back.

Updated review as of March update, when they added the DLC Store: Main game producer and director, Katsuhiro Harada, has previously gone on about how costumes from previous games, due to being overly simplistic in design because of hardware limitations, could not be returning to this game because of how "underwhelming" they would feel.

Instead of staying by the director's words, Bandai Namco decided it was a good idea to put a totally unnecessary microtransactions store in the game that features said outfits. This has been done after the time period when people could refund the game, which is absolutely a scumbag move, and dare I say, something only an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ company would pull, since it's a direct jab at its playerbase. This also confirms the players' fears when they argued that there was too little customization available in the game.

Tekken has already had this kind of stuff in packs that you could buy, but usually these would come in with season passes, or ultimate editions or whatnot which, mind you, I still think is way too much. These ones, however, are not included there. You could spend 100€ in the most expensive Tekken 8 edition and the season passes, you will still not have all of the content. Not only that, but the store's content has been announced to be rotating every week, which means that this model will be based on FOMO and will be of a predatory nature. Tekken does not need this kind of ♥♥♥♥.

Developers shield themselves saying that "development costs are now x10 times more expensive" and "they have to pay the servers, somehow". If that's true, it's certainly strange that they waited two weeks until positive reviews were in to put the store in the game, right? Despite being the best-selling Tekken game (Tekken 7 sold 2 millions in the first TWO months, while Tekken 8 sold 2 millions the FIRST month), apparently that's not enough, and clearly they need more money to keep the servers up and keep developing the game.

People will justify this saying that "the prices are not as bad as other fighting games" and, while that is true, I still believe that we should stand for the games we love and not fall nor defend predatory spending models. While I thoroughly enjoy the game, I would have absolutely held back on buying until a big sale was out if I had known about the store update beforehand because I legitimately wouldn't want to give Bandai Namco any money, and Bandai Namco knows that a lot of the playerbase feels like that, that's why they held back on releasing it until some time passed.

I appreciate developers that treat their players right, and not developers that think their players are stupid, don't understand economics and will buy whatever ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they say to justify predatory content. If you like Tekken and feel like this, too, feel free to wait for a sale to get the game. The game is still great, but this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ really pissed me off and I can't in good faith give a positive review.

Previous review upon release (Positive): The story mode is literally enough of a reason to buy the game. All of the references to previous titles ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. If you thought nothing could top playing the Tekken 5's intro Jack fight in Tekken 7 you're in for a treat.

Que no engañe el downgrade visual en comparación a Monster Hunter World. En términos de Gameplay le saca ventaja, y bastante.
