I 100%ed this game and it was mostly an exercise in frustration. The controls feel sluggish and slippery, the hit detection is inconsistent and the central mechanic of rolling your acorn around everywhere is just not very interesting.

If you're expecting a puzzle game you will be dissapointed. Most of the gameplay revolves around timed platforming and precision jumps. But since the game is emulating the gameplay of top-down Zelda on GameBoy it just leads to frustration and countless falls into bottomless pits.

The only point in the game where I was having consistent fun was in the Ivy Villa level, part of the optional post-game content. That's where I felt I could explore freely at my own pace without stress and where puzzling was the focus, rather than platforming or combat. It's the only time the cute and carefree visuals mesh well with the gameplay. But, as I said, that point comes at the post-game content. Which is too little too late for me.

The visuals are cute though. And the soundtrack has some catchy tunes.

A fun and satisfying FPS with a funny and engaging narrative twist. Short and sweet and recommended for any FPS fan, even if you (like me) have no interest in the historical Wild West.

Beautiful, thought-provoking and inspiring. Braid is one of the best puzzle games ever made and a must-play for anyone interested in puzzle platformers.

A cute and fun speedrun focused 3D platformer with surprisingly deep movement mechanics. But it feels somewhat unpolished and unfinished in terms of presentation and features.

Still well worth the asking price.

A short and sweet puzzle platformer clearly inspired by Braid. It's not as good as Braid, but it will definitely scratch that itch.

Sucks ♥♥♥♥.

The controls are annoying and unintuitive, the pacing is slow as ♥♥♥♥, gameplay consists of beating people with a wrench because there is no ammo anywhere so all your weapons are useless, the RPG elements are way too complex and don't give any feeling of progression, the levels are just a bunch of identical corridors arranged in a maze. I was running in circles and didn't even notice it until several minutes later.

On top of that the game is full of death rooms filled with radiation and security cannons that kill you as soon as you enter, which completely discourages any exploration. The voice acting range from passable to god-awful and the graphics haven't aged well at all.

I do not recommend System Shock 2. Play BioShock instead, it has much more streamlined and intuitive gameplay. If you must play System Shock 2 I recommend playing on the easiest difficulty and following a walkthrough to avoid getting lost or accidentally upgrading one of the many many many abilites that never will be used in the game.
