A really fantastic exploration experience. I'm not one for other survival-craft games, but this one hit the exploration sweet spot for me and sucked me in. The worlds are cool to explore for a bit and move on, you can put some roots down if you want or you can move on, no consequences either way.

An absolutely wonderful story game. Cute, funny, and charming. The world is great, the art is some of the best I've seen, and the writing is fun. Just a solid two hour romp.

Incredible, creative, and fun game. Art is beautiful, concepts are smart, and the gameplay is so so much fun. I played it while streaming it to my friends and became a big group activity. The riddles were fun, the combat is like a puzzle.
I love this game, I can't recommend it enough.

It's a good DND game. I played it like I was playing a fantasy Disco Elysium and had a really great time on my first playthough. Gunna play it again.

A surprising, fun, and creative game. Gameplay is delving into underwater zones, that are slightly randomized, in search of fish and friends, then running a sushi joint at night. Cutscenes are creative and unexpected artistic features with lots of character. I don't know where the story is going, in a good way, and I'm excited to play it more.

Edit after finishing story: Absolutely great game. I loved it. I'll return for 100% achievements soon

This game is extremely hard, a small misstep/miscalculation will end your run. Each turn requires a minute or two of thought, instead of flying through battles like you can in StS, you need to be methodical because enemies can be almost unfair (while remaining beatable if you keep all your plates spinning).
Meta progression feels quite small, only a handful of each type of card is unlockable, but I haven't completed a run to know if that expands after a W.

Absolute banger of a discord hangout game.

I really dig the idea of this game, loved the demo, and was looking forward to it. But it barely expands beyond the demo's complexity. I finished it in four hours and am trying the alternate levels right now, but they feel like the schtick from another level just pasted onto the OG. It ultimately becomes about the most extreme efficiency, but the game's simplicity makes it so that if you screw up in one way, you might as well restart the whole map. I'm not sure what else I'm looking for from this game, but it feels way more soulless than I was expecting.
I'd say $10 would be more what I would have expected for what I got. If you see it on sale for that much, consider it? Try the demo, do you want that for four hours?

Ultimately, this is a game with an interesting combat system that, because it's always just one small arena it feels like you're playing a game of hearthstone more than a tactical sort of thing. Each character has a particular play style, which is nice, but it's not super complex. The dating sim part of it is cool and fun, learning about each character is nice. But the storyline is very generic and just boils don to friendship wins!

I really feel like this game could have been incredible if they just did a bit more. I'd give it a 7/10, if you want XCOM, Chimera Squad is closer to what you're looking for, not this.
