It's charming and it has tons of character. With a concept and gameworld like this it would be easy to fall into overused mechanics and tropes, but Delver does it right. If you like roguelikes this is a must-have. Just be aware, it doesn't have nearly as much content as most other big name roguelikes (Binding of Isaac has over a thousand unique items: this game has a few hundred), so don't expect to invest 1,000+ hours, but it's rewarding and enjoyable regardless.
