I have been a loyal F1 fan for the last 3 years and own 9 of the 11 Official Codemasters F1 games only missing F1 2012 and F1 2013. Unfortunately, for me the games have got progressively worse over that time with the newer games simply making traction and tyre wear too hard to pick up for beginners even with assists. I even participated in over 100 league races yet still found traction and tyre wear too hard to control. Since, F1 2017 the game has gotten considerably worse to drive and to top it all off F1 2019 crashed 5 times in a row on boot up which is unsurprising considering the last time they released a game in June was the shambles of F1 2015. If you are starting with F1 I would recommend F1 2017 and F1 2014 before coming over to the new games as on F1 2019 the curbs spin you instantly, the track limits are still to pedantic and it is impossible to recover from a spin even with full traction. As an F1 fan it breaks my heart to say that after all these years this is officially the last F1 game I will ever buy. Oh and there has still been no split screen despite us clamouring for it since it was taken out in F1 2014.

Edit: Booted it again today 3 days after writing this review and it still crashes on boot up. Oh and did I not mention that I have had to re-install this mess three times because it sometimes deletes the .exe file. Also DX12 has never worked for me despite being on Windows 10.
