Honestly? There's not a thing I would change about this game. It rules and I love it. From the community to the developers and everything in between. This is a magical little gem that has brought me immense happiness in the ~50 hours I've played so far.

Also doesn't hurt that this $40 game beats the brakes off of a $70 "AAAA" game any day of the week.

A nice, short experience that made me chuckle a few times. Well done!

Three Fourths Home is the story of Kelly and coming back home when you really didn't want to. Somewhat estranged from your family (for ambiguous reasons that can become as complicated as you want them to), Kelly tries to beat a storm home while untangling some of the mess that her family has become.

While I enjoyed the main story (clocking in around 40 minutes or so), the epilogue and some of the extras (such as Kelly's photo project) are nice little extras that really strengthen the narrative. The game has wonderful, minimalist graphics that I quite enjoyed and felt fit the melancholy story line.

I enjoyed my time with Three Fourths Home so much that I ended up going through a few times to find the different story threads and conversation outcomes.

Not bad for a few dollars.

Hoping for a fun revisit of Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords (which I 100%’d on Xbox), this game lacks the polish and fun of the original title.

Instead of the “match 3” formula, you get a “move pieces to the board from the side and push pieces around”, which was somewhat disappointing.

Unfortunately, the one major negative PQ had - unfair advantages and sometimes near infinite cascading pieces for the enemy - is somehow worse in this one. You’ll roll up to a goblin village four people deep and get steamrolled by a solitary goblin with 2 health.

The RPG elements feel a bit tacked on also, and is more of an encumbrance than a benefit.

If you have the patience for the game, grab it on sale. As for me, my hunt continues.

If you play it as an idle game it's not bad. But you are hounded each day no less than 6 times to spend $10 or more. About 10 hours in the pressure starts getting pretty bad (longer time to make things, longer quest times, etc. Just spend $2 to speed it up! No biggie!)

I know microtransactions are a touchy topic, but this is a bit excessive. Here and there, sure. Not every 10-15 minutes.

It's the most disarmingly fun part of Resident Evil 4. But that's the whole game.

Short and sweet. Doesn't overstay it's welcome.

I recommend it.

I'm really enjoying Dungeons of Dredmor so far. I can see myself sinking a lot of time into this game.

Just wish you could see the armor your character is wearing in-game.

Worth $5 and probably much moer.

"Gone Home" is an awful game, in the traditional sense. But it's a fantastic experience.
The character development, the storytelling, the mechanics, and the emotional connection one makes with the characters is extremely impressive, and generally not found in a majority of the big budget games. I saw a lot of myself in this game, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. The game also had a few jump scares that, while not intentional, freaked me out.
There are also a TON of easter eggs in the game. I don't want to ruin them for you, but the ones I found made me chuckle quite a bit.
All in all, "Gone Home" is a nice break from the violence and the next-gen brown we've seen a lot of recently. I highly recommend it.
