Amazing reboot that revives the series and stays true to OG Doom gameplay while adding fresh ideas like glory kills. Also looks fantastic and is very well optimized from my personal experience.

Interesting take on Doom 2016 combat in VR, but the PC port is terribly done. Could be just an issue on my part, but practically every texture had terrible artifacting and the default motion controls are unbearable. If you want to play the game at all, consider a cheap PSVR to play on controller and in a more controlled experience compared to PC.

Fantastic port and an interesting spin on the OG Doom games. Super shotgun animation and sound is definitely inferior to the Doom 2 super shotgun, but the weapons all feel good overall and the Unmaker is a great addition. Levels also feel fresh and interesting, though some are needlessly convoluted.

Vastly different from other games in the series but a fun experience in its own right. Definitely includes some frustrating late-game sections, but BFG edition is quite a bit more forgiving with ammo drops and the flashlight system (for better or worse). RoE is a neat but very shallow expansion.
