After playing getting all the trophies for Hades 1 on three different platforms, I felt like maybe it's time to play something else for change. Bought early-access, though I never do that. 71 hours in, fully knowing I will need to restart when v1 comes out.

I never would have assumed that Hades 2 could live up to its predecessor, but they pulled it off with flying colors. Now I'm just waiting to see if they nail the story as well.

Comfortably addicting game. Quick runs. Fun potential for cool builds.

It's just too rare to have the option to make any sort of build you would like to make.

I tried.. As a fan of rpg's and old school point & click adventures I was looking forward to this game which is aleays listed first in my library when sorted by ratings.

In the first hour I was intrigued by the dialogue and vibe, but for me, it very fast was replaced with feelings of random and boredom. I kept playing for 5 hours until I just couldn't anymore. It bothered me a couple of days, so I came back and I gave it another 3 hours. Then I uninstalled the game.

I have never seen such a disconnect with my taste and the general consencus in ratings.

Great game but should not be Steam Deck verified. Keeps crashing. I recommend the original for Steam Deck.

This game is just comfortable. I keep it running on my steam deck and randomly play for a while every now and then. Easy to jump in, shoot and loot and jump out. I started with BL3 and it didn't really click for me, but this is perfect for what it is. Simple dopamine boosting.

The game I dreamed of as a kid playing on my cousin's Amiga 500.

When I first started playing this, I wasn't that impressed. Felt like a lot of button smashing. But then the characters started talking. Relationships started building. Strategies started emerging. Grinding started paying off. Now 115 hours later... yeah it's pretty good :)

EDIT: 180 hours on steam and another 90 on PS5... So yea. I guess it's ok.

The platforming reminds me of Katana Zero, which was my favourite platformer so far. This makes you feel even more powerful. The roguelike game loop is one of the best I've tried. It's so easy to jump in, play a bit, and jump out. This is perfect for someone like me who has very limited windows of time to play. Especially great game to play on the Steam Deck.

I'm only 19 hours in and this is feeling like it will end up pretty high in my list of best games of all time. Will revisit this review after a lot more hours.
