Amazing art direction, cinematography and camera work, but the actual game feels like a chore.
Progression is painfully linear. Rather than feeling like an investigation by giving the player pieces of information and letting them figure things out, the game sums up to a list of instructions you need to follow to walk down a poorly disguised corridor til you reach the next cutscene. Most sequences you can't even find objects needed in the wrong order because the interaction prompts just don't show up, forcing you to backtrack artificially.

With all its great technical and artistic achievements, I definetely don't recommend this game.

I played this back when it launched and was profoundly dissapointed. Coming back to it a few years later, I'm in love. Warframe grew from a beautiful and extremely hardware optimized but mediocre game to, frankly, one of the best gaming experiences I've had the pleasure to play in my life.

It is a nonstop series of great surprises as the overall gameplay and level design quality of the missions, and I don't say this lightly, does not stop going up as you progress in the game. And the narrative and prose of this game is something I had never seen in a F2P online game before.

Give it a shot. This game only isn't as good as it gets because DE never stops making it better.
