Got it with the Year 4 expansion. Otherwise, it would be f***ing ridiculous for 3 euros.

This game showed me that I am not so hopeless when it comes to persistence even though the tasks in the game can sometimes be quite repetitive and monotonous. I am still puzzled how it achieved this because I can easily get bored / frustrated and finally give up any game in general if I need to retry a mission several times. Many times I realized negotiating with myself to complete just one more mission - just like one does when playing with a turn-based strategy where you say to yourself "just one more turn". There have already been an almost endless amount of content released for the base game, which for the most part worth buying but the game is totally enjoyable without them either. Most of the seasons are really awesome keeping you busy for countless hours.

After a few hours of playing on the starting map, I am still puzzled why this season titled Scandinavia. I have not really come across anything so far that remotely resembles the actual region apart from the yellow colored traffic signs and the title. The two included, new vehicles - one Russian and another Indian - are such a turn-down. I understand that there is a licensing procedure for the vehicles appearing in the game but Sweden has so iconic brands that I guess we all would have loved to hop in virtually.

I assume whoever designed this region and the maps had not had good or any ❤️❤️❤️ for a looooong long time. With 160+ hours in this game behind my back, I would not have thought that the game makes me swear so much and so vividly like I am doing now when doing this season and region. I got the game early 2023 (so quite some time after the base game got released) and this is the 5th region I am doing, which is the first one that I find reeeeeeally frustrating. Honestly, I am continuously thinking about any forthcoming regions as a relief after this one as I heard this is one of the most difficult of them all released so far. All in all, an awesome game with endless, awesome content.

While the story is nothing we have not seen before, it gave me the thrills and kept me interested until I received the last achievement. I am not really fond of this genre, replayability is obviously non-existent, some of the story can be guessed but it gave me goosebumps almost continuously from the beginning until the end and it was very well-written. When on sale (as I bought it either), I would totally recommend buying and playing through. As you can see from my playtime, it can be done relatively quickly.

Awesome game!

Fun and (or but) short casual game. I would highly recommend to the fans of this genre despite this game has a serious annoyance: the achievement can only be gathered in the order the game offers them. For example, no matter I gained a 100× multiplier before, I have to make it again when this is the next to achieve. My last one to achieve was to hop on 1000 planets which was extremely boring in the end ("Redoing" archievements again as I surely did that already thoughout the game.)

It would be also good if in the menu the player could navigate with the arrow buttons and using Enter. Now the keyboard mapping is restricted to Spacebar which is the only "button combo" you need to remember. :)

My overall score for the game is 8/10.
