Enough time has passed..

Chrono Ark is in The Big 3, the Big 3 inherently consists of Chrono Ark, Chrono Ark: Fate, and Chrono Ark: The Reboot

Nothing is better than Chrono Ark, it has not only one of the best OSTS in video game history, it's gameplay and dialogue speaks lengths like no others. When Azar said "And every morning, I start the day with a brand new Chrono Ark", I started crying all over the place, how did one create such a peak form of video gaming?

Not only does it have a goated ost, gameplay, and dialogue, it's UI is ethereal. When I watched Chrono Ark UI reworked for the 15th time, my eyes started fluttering into undiscovered parallel universes, each parallel universe filled with eye-candy. It's UI tops Persona 5 Royal x100, not even x100- times x1000.

It's power system is unmatched aswell, Azar EASILY no diffs all of fiction, when he used "Ultimate Sword Art: Illusion Wave". Using his Illusion Swords, a red aura surrounds him amping him into the most peak character of all time! Forget about Goku, he's gettin one-shot!

Chrono Ark is also the overlord of roguelikes, the moment Slay the Spire, Darkest Dungeon, Binding of Isaac, and Hades saw Chrono Ark rise to the top, they quivered in fear, shaking, wondering where they will go. How could such peak come at a time!?

Long Story Short; if you haven't played Chrono Ark, not only have you had no childhood you also have no friends, you're homeless, you're single, and coping severely, I can not relate to this problem because Chrono Ark has actually changed my life by an infinite amount.

They gave us pretty much everything we asked for (rollback, crossplay), with some questionable(but not necessarily bad) system mechanic changes AND a free version of the game with 1 permanent and 3 rotating characters each week, that has access to most content in the game, meaning you can play with friends for free.

Definitely a recommend.

The 8 years old chibi Bleach gacha is the best Bleach game out there. Let that sink in.

Definitely worth your time though. 👍

TL;DR:
-Online is playable with pretty much people all over the world, except if someone is VERY far away from you
-Gameplay is beginner friendly with in-depth systems that even better players can struggle with
-Graphics are pleasing to look at
-Music will blaze you away
-Lobbies are the only downside of the game because it sometimes doesn't let you play for a bit, if they fix it, the game is a 10/10

Review
At the time of writing this review, I played a total of 101 hours, but I really should have made this review a long time ago.
The game is absolutely amazing and I just want go point by point what I love about it and why you should definitely give it a try, new player or not.

ONLINE
Its pretty safe to say that out of every fighting game out there, this game has the best netcode (essentially online play for those who doesn't know the meaning of netcode). Bigger fighting games usually suffer from worse or just straight up bad netcode because you can only play with people inside your continent and event then it sometimes works very iffy.

Now thats not to say the netcode is perfect and you can play anyone in the world, however, you can play people without a problem who are at least somewhat closer to the continent you live in.
Just to give an example: I reside in Europe and have a friend who lives in South Africa. The distance between us is HUGE, however, we can play the game without a problem. Its definitely not the same as playing someone in Europe, but we still play totally fine.

GAMEPLAY
If you've played previous Guilty Gear games (or just heard about them) you probably know that a lot of people say they are a very difficult and execution heavy games. The good thing (or bad, for some people) about Strive, is that they made the general rule of combos a bit more restricted, so you don't have to learn a combo for every single button you have and remember a long combo to deal good damage. Previous players of GG say this is too simple and the game isn't in-depth enough, but trust me the game has enough depth that you can get into if you are willing to learn. Roman Cancel system is way more in-dept than it was in previous games and because this game is a high damage game, you will always think about your next choice. This is just one mechanic that is in-depth but there are more.
What I would say is this game is an easy to pick up, but hard to master game, which is great for those who are either want to play casually or want to take it seriously and get into fighting games!

Generally if you are a new player or have even a slight interest in fighting games, this game is one of the best starting point. There's mode called a Mission Mode that teaches you a lot about general fighting game terms/concepts/rules and even character specific stuff, while not overwhelm you with everything at once. There are sections that divide beginner-intermediate-expert-etc. knowledge so you can stop anytime and try out what you learned in Arcade/Survival or go straight Online. If you feel like you might need to learn something more or you need a refresher, you can go back to Mission Mode and do the tasks there again. Also want to add that every character is unique and each of them have such a cool style that Im sure you'll find at least one or two characters you vibe with and learn them.

GRAPHICS
Honestly, I can safely say that in terms of animation quality and graphics, this game is probably one of the best looking fighting games out there right now. I might be exaggerating when I say this, but looking at the game is literally pleasing, thats how good it looks. Whenever you play the game your attacks and character super moves just look so powerful and cool, that just alone I could recommend the game for this.

MUSIC
Okay so if you know anything about Guilty Gear, you must know that a music plays a HUGE part. A lot of character specials or quotes are references for real music or bands. With that in mind, the music in this game is an absolute BANGER, same as the graphics, just for the music alone I could easily recommend the game. Each character have their own music (and if you are an older Guilty Gear player, they have almost all of the music from previous games) and fighting to the music is just one of the hypest thing in the game.

LOBBY
Everything I said so far was pretty much to praise the game, however, the lobby system in this game is pretty bad. The lobbies themselves are okay, you have a pixel character and you can dress it up with clothing earned from fishing or the playable character's clothes. You have to go to a station and join either 1P or 2P side and wait for a player to join you or you can join someone else's station inside the lobby. This is all well and good, but the problem doesn't exactly lie in the lobby, its more about the lobby system or servers. There are random disconnects, not being able to join a station to play the game, a station doesn't allow you to go back to the same station you were at just seconds ago and stuff like this. It can get really annoying and frustrating when you just want to play the game and lobbies are the only reason Im not giving this game a perfect score, because its such a major side of the game, that this can't be overlooked.

OVERALL
This game is an absolute masterpiece and I can't recommend it enough. If you are going to get much more into the game, you will find its ups and downs, but there are so many people playing and there are so many guides on youtube/reddit/discords that Im sure you'll find the answer you are looking for, if you ever have trouble.

The game gets a solid 9/10 from me, it is a must try if you are interested in fighting games or you already like them.

I could write a long review and explain why you should definitely try out Guilty Gear if you like fighting games, but this game is definitely a unique experience. If you are unsure about the game, wait for a discount because the best edition is like 10 bucks, but if you are into fighting games, this should be a must try.

9/10
If they add rollback, 10/10

This game feels like a blessing to humanity.

-Free to Play, although I feel bad for not paying for it.
-Amazing art style
-Amazing characters
-Amazing soundtrack
-Funny dialogues and options
-Puzzles that make me feel dumb

Please definitely support the developer if you can by buying the DLC. We need more games like this.
