The Story? There's a Tournament. Literally. That's it. That's the pretext behind all the ninja in this world coming together to prove himself the best. It's Super Smash Bros. There was no story to that (until Brawl...) and those games went just fine.

Granted, going through a story would have been nice, but it doesn't totally take away from the game. Many different game modes, 100+ playables with a few extras for support, and well drawn, inserted cutscenes from the anime itself. this turned out rather well.

But oh no... boo hoo.... I beat the game so fast because thee was no story.
WELL. You can play Ninja Storm 3 full Burst and play through that story and consider this a giant Minigame fantasy line up.

I'd recommend this game for anyone looking and action platformer beat em up. Except you really don't need the platforms.... You can practically fly. 3 characters and several stages and bosses, this game is short but also fun to play for high scores. Several difficulty levels to give you a chance to test your skills, and the co-op is defintely a plus in this game. Sure, at times you can't see you're character when you are being dog piled by a million ninja's that popped out of a dog, but that's okay because you can just fist of the northstar all of them. The crash mechanics are reminiscent of Super Smash Bro's Melee Super Sudden Death. Just imagine that. Yeah it's pretty cool.
The music is great. 8/10

The stages and art look nice. 7/10
The enemies do get repetitive but that's what you expect from a breat em up game. 6/10
The boss's are truly fun to fight. Not over sized gigantor robots, (except for thar one robodoge), but actual sized people with similar abilities as your own. Similiar.Still they can be overpowered, but that's what makes em fun. 8/10
So overall the game for me is 7.5/10. Great time passer, fun to play with friends.

I saw metal gear and thought this was a good place to get into the series. Saw Platinum Games in the developers and instantly thought of Bayonetta. And for those of you who love that game, this is like a no brainer. Great soundtrack, good gameplay, awesome cutscenes. And then you are a ninja cyborg that does chu li kicks with a sword on his foot, what is not to like about that.

Good Game. Very simple. Makes for great small get togethers to see who can get the highest score or fastest time. plus its an easy gameplay video run
