One of the best JPRGs of all time

now in HD and built in girlfriend simulator

Simply, this is one of the best JRPGs of all time. Just like with any other Persona game. You are set in a new world with new or returning characters and another mystery to solve as the town of Inaba is haunted by a mysterious serial killer. The game combines highschool life (with tests and somehow actual realistic friendships and social circles called Social Links) along with the power to control demons (in this game they call it Personas). It is your task to have a school life balance whilst going through dungeons and saving innocent victims. Through this mix, planning ahead and working things out is an important task as your days are numbered in this game.

Simple & Easy Combat, Hard to Master

Remember Pokemon? Welp this is a much bigger expansion

In this game, there are no limits to what move a persona can learn. Personas do not have elemental types similar to Pokemon however they do have weaknesses. The game uses the HP & SP System which can be used for certain moves along with a turn based system. The fun starts when you start to learn about ailments and landing a critical hit or using a move a demon is weak to. This then results in you getting another turn and the combo starts from there. Once all opponents are downed, a beatdown prompt appears which allows all the party members to continuously whack the living crap of the demons. Upon reaching the later dungeons, it will introduce more gimmicks which make the game more fun.

Social Links, the main selling point of a game

Anime Style of approach w/ some sort of realism

Playing this game, I realized that I did not unlock every Social Link. For some reason you actually have to find a reason to meet certain people. Just like in real life, everyone has Social Circles and in this game, every player will have different social circles and different group of people you hangout with on a daily basis (except for the Investigation Team). It is very surprising and now I am on my 2nd Playthrough w/ NG+. Each time you hangout with someone, you get 5 - 10 minutes of interesting content about the character themself or just chillin and hanging out. The presentation and artwork is in Anime, and it is as if you are watching an episode. There are around 10+ Social Links in this game which means a ton of Anime Episodes. Hanging out with these characters are just simply fun to begin with.

10/10 Masterpiece

It just is. Cmon buy it. I need you to buy it. Then get Persona 5 and emulate Persona 3 FES (because FES is better).

Tips

-Talk to everyone
-Level up Marie's & Margaret's Social Link
a lot of content will be missed if not maxed out
-Spend money on characters that you only use
-Max out Social Links on characters that you will use
-Go in Blind and have fun
