I love this game. I started my play through in Beta 7. While playing it upgraded to 8. Which caused some very minor issues for me. Nothing major, just the landscape changed slightly. Everything worked, just some things didn't look the same.

I guess you can say I completed the game, but I feel like I rushed my play through. Because getting to the end, or completing all the space elevator tasks, left me feeling like... What do I do now? So I roved around in the explorer till I found every corner of the map, (Look for tapes) and built a giant mega lair atop the highest point... But like, I didn't start decorating, or do any fancy designing, from the start. No real organization, or resource storage management. I just linked up machines all willy-nilly and made the thing do the work. Once I was done, I felt like it looked like a mess compared to what I've seen other people build. Alittle too cheap, thrifty, or efficient... Like I made a 3rd world Factory. Now I've seen some other people's, who had gorgeous skyscrapers with like... floors, and walls. Wow what a concept.

So with that being said. My advice is to really dive in, and enjoy this game. don't stress over the production goals. There's no deadlines to meet. But it is a great little world to immerse yourself in. There's so much to explore and discover, while exercising your brain, and feeling like you're doing something productive. All while you're actually just playing a game and wasting time. lol So build a factory you're more than satisfied with, something you would be proud to show off when you do reach the uh, 'end'... I mean, the game really never "ends" if you want to keep building.

I enjoyed this game when it was just Civilization,
A nice break from life. Maybe help teach the kids...

But when you just get balls in your face, and.. oohhh "Natural disasters.. oops."

Can't walk if you can't crawl.

An hour in, and I can already tell I love it. It's exactly what you'd want in a FPS

I'm going to leave a thumbs up for this game, due to the fact that it does have an awesome campaign. HOWEVER. The multiplayer on this game is complete garbage that never worked right. The game servers crash all the time, if they even work at all.

But, I was so in love with this game, that I ended up digging into the net, and found a group of people who took the time to mod the game so that people could host working servers, and actually play the game with each other. This was a painstaking process, and often meant having to download updates weekly, and manually install them into the game folders. As much as a pain in the butt this was, I could at least play the game online.

Then one day I try to sign in and found out my account has been permanently banned. I assume because I modded the game... ?? Sure feels like a slap in the face. I would sometimes have to spend and entire day or so, just trying to figure out how to make this game work. Yet it seems my enthusiasm has been met with disdain. Not only do the devs not take the time to fix their own freaking game, but they go after the people doing what they can just to make it work.

Early Access Review
I have mixed feelings about this game. While I enjoy'd the gameplay, the game is not completely finished. There is a final chapter that doesn't unlock, and it really bums you out. Like wtf? It leaves you feeling like you haven't really beat the game. There's no congratulation, no finally.. You're left unable to get legendary parts for upgrades, cause they're locked behind unreachable levels I guess..? I dunno. It's rude to charge $15 for a game that isn't even finished.

For now I am down voting because that is rude on the devs part to release an unfinished game. If the game is finished I will likely change my rating.

I hate this game. So much. I have put so many hours in, attempting to have fun, yet every time I play I pretty much end up rage quitting, and I never feel satisfied. For starters, the only reason I even know anything about how to play this game is because I learned from someone else. They enjoyed the game, and I thought I might too. Had I not been introduced previously, I feel this game would have been impossible to learn on one's own.

First of all there is waaay to much ♥♥♥♥ to deal with in this game. I've played the hell out this game. I search areas well, and I collect all the resources I can, but most of the time it is still barely enough. YET, I am almost always over encumbered. Right about the time I figured out how to stay light, my Stash box fills up. You spend so much time on inventory management. Like 50% of the game play is dealing with your sh*t. By the time you can leave camp and go explore an area, I'm not even sure what missions to do. Literally the whole right side of my screen had missions on it, covering half the view field. In addition, the navigation sucks. The game barely tells you which way to go, and you'll spend tons of time running in circles inside of maze like buildings looking for a switch, or a computer, or a keycode door... Maybe to find out you don't have the skill to complete that mission.

There are way too many random missions, and you never know when they're over. They end up becoming wild goose chases that have you running all over everywhere. I have traveled great distances across a map more than once only to find I am not even close to be able to complete a mission. Constantly running out of ammo unless you buy it with caps, weapons constantly break down so you'll need to buy repair kits... Then if you did manage to get any cool stuff, which seems to be the only reward in this game, and you die, you drop all of it. And now all your findings and takings are probably left somewhere you can't possible retrieve them. Fall in a pool, you can't swim and now your stuff is at the bottom of a lake. Go into a mine and die, yeah we'll your stuffs at the bottom of a mine. Hours lost, and now you're prob out of food, water, aids, and ammo AGAIN. Oh, and if you quit before you go back to your camp when you log out or whatever. When you log back in and your thirsty, hungry, and low on energy.

Capturing workshops is the stupidest thing ever. MAAYBE, but rarely do you find a workshop with any machines running. So for the most part they are useless unless you build them up. So spend all your resources doing that and guess what happens when you log out and back in. They're gone!! I mean.. WTF!? More hours wasted. This last time I logged in, I found another workshop empty, and some brand new General Monster thing that killed in me 2 seconds.. I mean... How fun is that?

I really enjoy the concept, but it has been made into something that is just unplayable. Constantly being left feeling depleted, with little reward for completing tasks. Everything is incredibly difficult, and nothing ever seems to become enjoyable. I so badly wanted to get lost in this open world environment, collecting items and killing monsters.. But I have developed nothing but hate for it. The last 3 times I have played this game, it has left me feeling like crap, and makes me wonder why I even bother with games at all. I get in such a bad mood I barely want to play anything. This game is total crap. I will never play it again.

Really enjoying this game so far. Played it for around 8 hours straight the first time I opened it. The one thing I found difficulty understanding at first, was the vehicle build and modification. At one point I deleted parts of my vehicle, and it took me a while to figure out how to restore them into the right places. But overall this is a great game. Reminds me of the old school Twisted Metal, but with a more Mad Max environment. I haven't sunk any money into it yet, but there are still lots of play options available for free.
