Let me romance the bat please please please

I don’t think I’ve ever played a game this buggy, especially at this price point. Frame rate drops and poor optimization are one thing, but the real issue for me has been how broken the game is, particularly in end-game co-op content. I came into this without any bias, as I haven’t played the earlier Borderlands games, but my experience has been incredibly frustrating. Far too many bosses have bugged out, disappeared mid-fight, or forced us to reset entirely, often costing us loot. I’ve been stuck in walls, floors, and random objects more times than I can count. The UVH 5 quest is especially bad, I’ve retried it multiple times, and enemies frequently despawn or glitch out, making it impossible to progress without restarting. On top of that, the online experience is terrible. Despite playing with a friend who lives only a few states away, with solid internet, the lag and frame drops with co-op end game builds (using Vex and Rafa) is awful. I've also experienced my character’s hands disappearing until I restart, weapons suddenly doing no damage until I unequip and re-equip them, and countless other glitches that break the game. Overall, Borderlands 4 feels unstable and unfinished. For a game of this scale and price, the sheer number of bugs makes it one of the most frustrating gaming experiences I’ve had in years, and one of the only games I've ever been annoyed with enough to leave a review.

Edit: I want to add, I do enjoy the actual game play and story of the game, quite a lot honestly, enough to push through all the bugs and bad development to keep playing, but I absolutely would not recommend the game at this price point until it's patched and fixed.
