A worthy successor to an old classic, Oregon Trail will force you to change your underwear and keep your powder dry. Storms, snakes (always snakes), and interruptions by musicians will threaten to delay your overland trail to a new home. Laziness will kill, dimwitted will cause suffering, and paranoia will discard your medicinal berries leaving no cure behind. Good luck, traveler.

I haven't seen this much death since XCom. The default zombies don't run, they don't climb, they're not particularly difficult to kill, and they never, ever, stop. I've spent more than a few deaths trying to lose zombies in the woods, exhausted and ready to drop, only to wake up in the morning wondering where I am before hearing the zombies again. Minimal story, maximum gameplay.

If Westwood were to create a phone app it'd look like this. Bought the Google Play version first and immediately bought the Steam version when I found out it was available.

I'm going to take a stab at writing a review... it's been a really long time since a Visual Novel has elicited a personal response out of me, not the typical "MC should feel this way" kind of empathy, an actual, real and visceral response. Have you ever wanted to be center stage in a kung-fu movie/martial arts epic? Dynasty Warriors, set in the Three Kingdoms period of Ancient China, is definitively one of the best hack-and-slash pseudo-strategy games and this installment could potentially be the top-of-the-heap best version!

Everything the Dynasty Warriors series was with updated graphics and a fairly interesting and unobtrusive combat "trio" system which encourages less spamming and more combos.

It's silly, it's fun, and the Colonel doesn't respect me as a cook.

But I can live with that because I spent less than an hour laughing!

I was randomly shown this by a coworker and I've got to say, it scratches the Star Trek itch. The game is originally an app that runs on your Android phone and I play on both Android and on Steam-- with the same account! So finally I've got a game that I can play on the go AND play at home while I'm doing other things. The game is free-to-play despite having in-game purchases and, after having put a few dollars in, I have to say I'm pleased with the balance overall.

9/10-- Would have given it a 10 had it not been for the somewhat arbitrary nerfing of certain chara-DAX-ters.

There're a lot of new up-and-coming movie writers and plots now that media like YouTube and digital publishing have become so widespread-- this studio is doing pretty well. I'm not a normal fan of the 'horror' genre but the story was enough to get me to keep watching.

I've got my eye on this one and you may want to do the same.

That... was far more amazing than it should have been. Like if someone handed you rich, velvety chocolate when all you were used to was powdered. I wish though that the medium hadn't been a VN but something else... the story feels a bit 'on-rails' as it has to get to the 'main course,' which of course, is the road only travelled in the minds of the author. And internet porn. The story is almost cliche at some points but the execution was very well done. I can honestly say that I enjoyed that story quite a bit and look forward to what this author might do in the future!

8/10 - Short game but well-executed story. Plot implausibility led to what felt like an honest and barebone conclusion which still managed to end well. Impressive.
