I'm delighted with the concept of the game. There are not many eugenics simulators in the world, and even fewer good ones. And this is one of them.

Unfortunately, all aspects of the game are developed superficially. The main feature (social relationships) practically does not play into the gameplay, insteed generates an insane number of clicks. The game has no replay value, and instead of meta-progress, we are just unlocking pictures.

I still recommend the game, there are many fresh and unusual mechanics, nice graphics and good music.

Fun game for 1–2 evenings. I really like the concept and realization, but the game has a some problems:
* Too short. It takes 4 hours to fully end the game with all achievements.
* Too easy. The only real challenge here is writing the worst book.
* Economics and Balance. Most typewriters are useless, their costs are random, you don't need to buy themes at all, infinite money in the midgame and interaction with authors does nothing.

Otherwise, nice art, a user-friendly interface and good humor.

I don't know. DLC focused on Brazil and has railroaded design. It's not bad, but it's not good either. It's just meh.

An important update that made something out of no political system. The DLC itself adds only a small flavor that has virtually no effect on the game. Not worth the money at all, but what choice do we have?

This is definitely not the best Paradox game and not the sequel which we all have waited for. In current conditional game still have a lot of problems and not enough content, but i can't call this game bad. It's fun, it's have interesting and dip mechanics. It's just to much distant from ideal.

Problems:
* Awful war mechanics. It's better now, then it's start, but still boring and stupid.
* Dumb diplomation. You even can't use basic things like military access, most your actions is just a war.
* Optimization. Time flow toooo sloooow. Especially to the end of game. Get cup of tea and take a book, if you want play till the end.
* AI. It's bad in all way. AI is passive, start pointless war and change their mind every tick. Unlike other Paradox games, here only the player influences the world. The AI is too dumb to change anything.
* Sameness. Countries differ mostly in their starting position, progress is very similar for everyone, there is practically no flavor. This makes each campaign very similar to each other. And there are quite a few unique events.

Despite all this, the economy and social structure in the game are very interesting, they force you to dive into details and think ahead. So it’s interesting to play a couple of games, but no more.

Perhaps, after five-ish new DLCs, the game will become a new strategic masterpiece. But not now. 7/10

An excellent DLC that is very organically woven into the gameplay. While developing colonies seems like a bit of a weak bonus (and the amount of scarce resources is absurdly high), I still love doing it.
The new leaders and buildings are interesting. And visually it’s quite nicely done (the only thing missing is the dynamic change in the appearance of the planets as they develop).

I was very skeptical after play the demo, where the gameplay seemed very narrow to me. Luckily my skepticism was wrong. The game was surprisingly deep, but relaxing at the same time. Rogue-like elements perfectly complement and diversify sessions, helping to create a unique journey every time. And the elements of lore and graphics are very pleasant and work great for the atmosphere.

Among the shortcomings, I would note the excessive influence of randomness (especially in card draw) and sometimes lame balance. But nothing that couldn't be fixed with patches or DLC.
