A stunning city-building game with a unique deep economic and feudal system. This diamond is one of a kind - no one has yet attempted to recreate the market model so well.
Unfortunately, there are plenty of problems in the game as well. The monotony of graphics negatively affects creativity when creating a city, the huge amount of micro-management is tiring, but the main problem is performance. In the late stages of the game, time drags so slowly that you can easily leave to read a book for a couple of hours to wait for the right event.
Despite the shortcomings, I had a lot of fun. 8 replaced game files out of 10.

I wasn't sure for a while whether to recommend the DLC or not, but I've decided to recommend it.

The main problem for me here is that both the DLC and the patch don't fix most of the game's problems and it still remains... pretty niche.

Despite that, taken out of context, the DLC is very good. It focuses on the early game and makes it more flex and dynamic, while improving out the balance at the same time. The new government and national spirit look interesting and adequate, and all the new features are seamlessly integrated into the game. There is nothing to berate the DLC for, but the game as a whole still needs improvement.

These DLC get a nice flavor to the game, but i didn't feel the game more freshy. Despite of amazing detailed new layer, more layers make game worse because speed and optimisation.

The game is completely unique and out of the ordinary. You take on the role of a storyteller, weaving an insidious tale of destroying suffering settlements.
Kidnapping, brainwashing, devious deals, espionage, plague, obsession and good old-fashioned ultra-violence. Any method you can think of to drive puny humans mad and destroy each other.

Unfortunately, the game also has its share of problems. Not a single aspect is polished, the balance seems to be broken everywhere, the pace of the game is too slow and uneven.

Still, for such an unusual game, it's hard not to recommend it.

Cosy, atmospheric and beautiful. Hope the developers can keep these feelings in the full version.

My favourite DLC for now, new culture has a variations, so added a lot more new ideas to find best combos. New Tomes works well and have fun abilites.

Also the developers added new free updates that improve and fix a lot of things in the game. With these three DLC and all these updates, I can now confidently say that I love this game and they have enough content to play with fun.

There are still problems with boring endgames, slow turns, a weak economy and a lack of tangible depth in combat. But compared to the first version, a few steps have been made.

Now it's a solid add-on. New culture with unique mechanics and flexible new tomes with new effects now generate a lot of new builds. Together with the previous DLC, it's an effective refresh of the game.

Good DLC, but not a game-changer. Dragons are fun and powerful. The evolution mechanic is well done. But the lack of new synergies changes the game a bit.

Still, I recommend it, it makes the game better.

If we just look at the gameplay system and the ideas, this game has every chance of being called the best 4x game. If.
Unfortunately, the game has a lot of problems and unfinished elements. Graphics, tweaks, AI... We even have the WORST map generator since... ever? We don't even have a prepared map scenario.

That said, I'm willing to bet a lot more on Millenia than I am on Humankind. Because what we're seeing here is just a raw foundation for the game, more like early access. But that foundation is very strong and solid, it is interesting to design civilisations, to move through the ages, to explore the possibilities and synergies of each of the many combinations. And the balance, the AI and the map generator can always be tweaked.

Highly recommended. Believe. Wait.

Amazing game. The best fantasy 4x at the moment.
A fascinating nation builder, a tangible impact of research, a good economy, significant meta-progress, interesting events and lore.
The only drawback in my opinion is the boring and stuffy endgame. In most runs, the last 10 moves I just call with the thought “when will this end.” And if it weren’t for the pantheon points and achievements, I probably wouldn’t have completed them.

Everything else is top notch. And each DLC brings a lot of interesting content.
