Finally a historically accurate game about Russian history. Amazing attention to detail and love for the little things. Rich and complete biography of historical characters. A thorough reproduction of ancient Slavic strategies and tactics.

Anyone who wants to understand Russia should play this game.

What's good about this game: visual style, innovative combat, price.
What's bad about this game: everything else.

Awful narrative, terrible writing, lazy world-building, unimpressive music, boring combats (innovation doesn't help), frequent crashes, and endlessly long loading screens. If I were buying the game (and the page is very promising), I'd ask for a refund.

I recommend it to no one, but since it's free, you can try your luck.

OMG. One of the best demos I've ever played. Feels like quite a complete game, albeit a short one. Solded!

The game itself is an amazing mix between MOBA, sports manager, auto battler, and card game. A completely original and unusual experience.

The music, the supposedly AI art, the horrible writing might scare you off, but the gameplay is worth a try.

I really like the way the developers approached the 4X concept and breathed life into it by focusing on eXploit. The long chains of production, resource management and economics fit perfectly with the other three X's. I found it interesting, even despite drowning in micromanagement as the developers didn't implement any automation. Horrible and ill-conceived interface, strange set of screens and trivial lack of mini-map (or eagle-eye view) spoil the experience, but the mechanics and game cycle are still interesting and can keep your attention.

What I can't understand at all is the game balance. The numbers feel like they've been scattered around with randomization. The choice of leaders, which even a player unfamiliar with the mechanics can be horrified by. And further everything is even worse: troops of old epochs are stronger than new ones, dozens of useless formations, goods that are difficult to produce and lose to the starting ones, building improvements that only worsen the efficiency, technologies that literally give nothing, buildings that are not clear in what situation it makes sense to build..... I think this is the worst balance I've seen in strategy games in my entire gaming experience. It feels like the developers have never played their own game. But even more surprising was the first balance patch, which... fixed something that wasn't a problem at all, just simplified the economy beyond belief. And that...is...mind boggling.

Despite the problems, I recommend the game. My first playthrough brought me many interesting hours. But I advise you to wait for a dozen patches.

Early Access Review
The character generator is great. The game itself is a mess. The combat system and magic are boring, the adventures are underdeveloped and poorly balanced, and the economy.... just exists.

Considering the game has been abandoned - it's just meh.

Wholesome and beautiful deck-building roguelite that introduces the innovation of dice instead of cards. The mechanics are interesting and fresh, the runs are dynamic, and each character is played uniquely.

If you're a fan of card-based roguelikes and have been looking for something new for a while, this is a great option.

Game is ok, but kind of shallow and grindy. If you like repetitive actions, may be it's for you

Not the best online deckbuilder. Poor balance, slow match dynamics, simple mechanics and repetitive gameplay. I can't call the game bad, nor interesting.
