Very fun and interesting mechanics; story is a little short, but it has great replay value.

The game does an excellent job of teaching you things without actually saying anything. The puzzles are really hard in some areas, but the open world always lets you leave and do something else and then come back later. Very relaxing (until the game starts trolling and annoying you on purpose, just to see if you can be bothered to keep playing)

Great soundtrack, fun and unique combat system, definitely worth playing through more than once. The game often relies on a style of humour which might be hit or miss for some people, but I personally really enjoyed it.

Very good game, although the combat and graphics haven't aged very well. The story is great, the lore is great, the people you interact with all feel like different characters with different personas and motives. Unlike later games in the series, Morrowind doesn't level enemies to the player, so it actually feels like you go from a prisoner who dies to a mudcrab to a god who kills everything in one hit.

A great example of a good bad game. The story-telling is generally decent, sometimes great (Dark Brotherhood questline and Shivering Isles are especially good). Other than that.. well, the game is bad. Bad graphics, bad combat, both good and bad voice acting, stealth is overpowered compared to other playstyles etc. Why do I recommend it? Because this is what makes it fun. Play Oblivion, laugh at the horrible NPC faces, laugh at the campy dialogue and enjoy some fun and interesting quests in the meantime.

Which version should you buy? I'd say the only good part of Deluxe are Wizard's Tower and Mehrune's Razor, and they aren't really worth the extra $5 in themselves. Maybe get the Deluxe on sale, if the price difference is lower, other than that I would suggest the standard version.

I would highly recommend to install the unofficial patches and/or a mod that levels your quest award items with you (such as this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/39635/?)

Fun dialogue, great soundtrack and world, the RTS elements could have been introduced better, but are in themselves pretty neat. Recommended especially for people who like heavy metal and its different subcultures.
