**YES** : everything you wanted the original zoo tycoon to be and more. 10/10 god sim for building/running a zoo. lots to micromanage & a challenge get gud at.

**NO** : dlc everything _ in-game dlc prompts & LOTS of challenge/career gameplay locked behind micropaywalls. game is borderline unreasonably challenging (why am i always broke)

**TLDR** : base game worth it, expansions worth it when ON SALE _ if you don't have it yet and can manage to wait, when the whole thing goes on sale as a package it's worth it
