Hype game with an interesting PVE gimmick but ultimately is PVP deathmatch where you get punished by the inventory and crafting system ensuring you get to spend 5 minutes micromanaging recycling and fighting the interface to rebuild the same basic kit.

Maybe the whole point of the "game" is to be anti gambling but for a roguelike to be fun it can't be purely based on how well you can cheat or Timmy the mechanics, ultimately coming down to "how lucky are you with the first shop to get the right combination of snowball relics if you ever hope to beat the exponential requirements. Truly the only way to beat the slot machine is to not play the game. If that was the developer’s intent, then it’s a cruel joke to charge money for something that feels more like a statement than a game they actually expect you to play. I can use my imagination of spinning the wheel 10,000 times and imagine some epic conclusion after the perfect combination of dice rolls, thank you very much, I don't actually have to watch 5 second spins 10,000 times, I have real games to play.

It's fun but has some issues, the game is random for basically everything and it feels like you're fighting the game and you WILL lose because the RNG is unfair, impossible to find boss teleporter, terrible rolls on your first few level ups making it impossible to level, certain characters are hard countered by early spawning explosive mobs. This game is like playing a slot machine in the casino in both the good and bad way. So it would be nice to see some QOL features balancing the general "unfairness" of the game to take from an 8/10 to a 10/10 like Brotato.

It's fun but needs tender loving care. The game play loop is easily broken with the "right" build. NPCs are buggy especially on the other maps, horizontal maps are unplayable with mining NPCs as they'll just dig down and break your collectors. The upper quest givers seem buggy. But for just doing something like Terraria mining for a few hours scratches the itch.

If you like games like this you will like this game. Rogue like, watching the numbers go burr after carefully strategizing.

It's a fun game but it's unfair and can learn from other rogue likes when it comes to decision-making. Without a map to route between encounters and events it's a coin flip. Due to the rules of the game you can simply lose a run two fights in, I've had runs start against opponents on Black Jack streaks. I've also beat bosses with shear dumb luck. Winning the game is simply impossible without luck and memorization and mitigation against the various abilities of the bosses / levels (very much Slay the Spire with this) but sadly this also means that if you have a fun deck it's probably not going to win. It also means certain cards are just straight up better than others so I hope you're feeling lucky. With that all said, it hits all the spots when it comes to rogue like deck builders but I hope they improve run consistency and let difficulty be in ascensions but right now base difficulty will filter out the majority of players.

Kind of fun for a couple of hours. The random gun mechanic sucks especially when you can get guns which are absolute trash or guns which are win the game tier, either trivializing the boss or making a boss impossible. The game can be frustrating. Doesn't feel like there's much variety in the perks you can get.

Beat the core game, pretty good but it's definitely got a "if you're lucky you win if you're unlucky you lose" aspect to the game. Some cards and relics win the game, if you don't get those cards or relics you lose. If you like numbers go up and card battler roguelikes with a little bit of rhythm and reaction time it's worth the play.

The end game became kind of a slog with a stupid boss rush that soft locks your campaign if you're not prepared at all for it (and you have to load an auto save from hours before to undo it). But overall for a base management game it's fun and whimsical if not a little shallow in some places. Hopefully with some content and game play patches this game will go from "okay" to "awesome" but for now if this is the type of game you find interesting you'll enjoy one or two playthroughs.

One of the best turn based RPGs to come out in years. Lots of fun, difficult battles, an interesting story and lots of gear, stats and abilities to play with. It can have frustrating difficulty spikes at times so get prepared to have to respec and change things up to get through the more difficult fights.
