Super fun roguelike that is easy to pick up and learn. Fun scaling and ability to mix and match for different builds. This game has a lot of potential and for three dollars as of writing this, it's a really good deal. A run will normally last between 10 and 30 minutes depending on your RNG and play style. There is a lot of room for growth here too, but plenty of content to justify the price.

If you like roguelikes, autobattlers, or bullet hells this game might just be for you as it really feels a bit like all of the above.

The game certainly seems to start off slow, with the first day barely giving you 30 minutes of play time. However, over time, the days extend to allow for longer sessions. Collecting resources, crafting food to feed your pets, and fishing are activities that grow on you. In addition, over time your island will get bigger, allowing for more places to decorate, collect, and explore.

Each day, I look forward to the time that I get to spend on my island with my residents. The soundtrack is nice and calming, and it's a great way to relax at the end of the day. I feel no stress about completing certain tasks in a specific time frame, and the game does not punish you for missing a day or two.

One of my main gripes is that you are unable to remove trees/rocks from the island, so decorating is a bit more challenging than it should be. Aside from that, I do like some of the decorations that you unlock as you move forward.

The developers have released several patches since launch, taking user feedback very seriously. The QoL improvements brought to the game so far have been very welcome.

Overall, this is a lovely game to spend an hour or so a day on, and it will help you unwind. As long as you don't try to rush through everything and can allow yourself to be patient, I certainly recommend this game.

Despite a rocky launch with poor performance and many crashes, this game is an absolutely delight to play.

The combat is clean, fluid, and intuitive. The game is absolutely gorgeous and they've fixed most (if not all) the issues that I was facing.

I beat the game in around 30 hours, not including getting 100% of course, but I'm on my second play through in new game + and intend on doing a much more thorough job. I haven't even touched the expansion content yet, as I wanted to save that for my second play through.

Overall, this game is absolutely worth the money, and I would recommend it to almost anyone. One of the best games I have played in a long time.
