Nice game, a very corny noire detective story.
The artstyle and mood is really sweet, with 3-5fps animated 3d volumetric drawings.
The voiceover is ok, some mastering is off here and there, but overall is ok.
The writing and dialog is childish but funny enough to worth your while.

I would love to see part 3 of this with 10hrs of gameplay.

Like any emulation of p2w mobile mechanics, it feels humongous grinding to do anything in it.
And like any indie type game the player base does not fill the servers enough to have an equitable matchmaking.

Basically if you are a new player to the franchise, like me, you will have to grind your way into the first online match(no, not the competitive ones). In my first game, against a player, I was swamped by the other player with units, units that I would dream to have in my first 10 min play, and melted everything I put on the table. One unit killed everything I had in less than 30 sec.

Big dislike, it's not an new problem this type of interaction, quake 4 suffered from it in the same way, it is disappointing that the dev's don't really care about it, and sad because instead this game to be a hook tword the other one that is priced higher and gives a more of a complete experience (from what i read) it is having, for me, the opposite effect.

If you are new to the title go buy the other title instead, myself I will avoid them all together, for now.

Really nice game, if you are a casual one you can finish everything it has to offer it in around 15hrs but it has alot of replayability potential. It's not too hard, the balancing of resources is quite easy to do and the fact that you have renewable resources elements like scrap collector it would unlock a avalanche in expansion for your settlement.

The expeditions are nice, it has some adventure element to it, would have love to see some sort of lore plot in those to have a bigger purpose, but that part is somewhat solved in the dlc's.

Overall I recommend at least a playthrough, a really nice weekend game, the price is fair for the amount of content.

The game is fine, a casual city sim, bought it at a discount.

The ui is fine, some menus and overall information displayed would need a revamp, some things are quite cconfusing....overall could be better.

The gameplay is highly simplified but being a vr game it is perfect as is.

Bugs, yes there are still bugs in it, and based on the timestamps on comunity discussion it might never see another update, that is quite sad because it doesn't really have a competition in its class of games, when it comes to vr games.

The dev(s) should consider that this game has the potential to bring in some more players but it is a type of game that needs slow and steady growth.

This is an lost underrated gem, a niche game, and for context I bought it based on youtube review done this year....

Early Access Review
Wonderful game, great music, finest pixel art i've seen in a while.

It's only huge challenge will be getting out from early access, the "base frame" of the game suggests at least twice the content it has at this moment and with no modding support, a lot of great ideas from the community and feedback will fall on the back of the small team of devs. This can be seen clearer when comparing the updates recieved vs kickstarter plans they had for it.

Right now it packs at least 20-60 hrs of gameplay for a first run and gets addictive really quick. But be warned you will start craving for more content in the first 10 hrs of play so it's not a fix for your addiction.

If the developers manage to finish their plans, this game will be a must play, rooting for it.
Also the music....

Early Access Review
The game has a great concept, no loose ends. I was waiting on it for a while and wanted to buy it instantly (especially with the discount) but I will not recommend a buy just yet.

Starting from the lowest impact it had on me:

Can live with:
- The menus could be reworked here and there, click and right click on the character select screen very counter intuitive, also no back button. Sometimes I was not sure if I clicked or not.
- I still don't know how to send messages to another player (like gg and good luck)
- Weapon selection in ui could be better visually, the selected weapon is not contrasting enough sometimes I missed the selection (and found out what the laser gun is).

Needs improvement:
- Player base is really small and because of that only casual matchmaking was an option for me.
- 2v2 games felt very chaotic and random not as fun as 1v1. Strategy in 2v2 it's not an option if you are not a sociable person.
- Laser weapon is useless, maps designed for weapons classes could make the laser relevant.

Inherited issues:
- Feels unfinished, as fun as it is there something that after 6-7 games made me feel that it has no purpose to it.
- It's too balanced, some games dragged for 10-15 minutes due to the tennis like scoring. Some sort of sudden death might be needed.

Suggestions
- I think the loop time can be longer without breaking the game as long as there are more thing to do on the maps (increasing the time of play per loop but decreasing the chances of stalling overall).
- Maybe some random map events to spice things even more (as most of my whole fun factor came from forgotten, unexpected or surprising situations)
- Few npc's could also improve this
- Traps set by the player also could work ( maybe the characters could have classes with different abilities... yes it sounds cliche but it could give the game alot of depth and a sense of purpose on the long term play
). The barrels made my game half of the time I played.
- Minigames....

I will keep my eyes on this project and it's update, I really hope It will improve and attract a greater player base. For now 6 hours showed me everything it has to offer and also had the time to deduce some meta gameplay, most of the players already are having strategies of play developed.
