I'm very happy I discovered this game in the Games Baked in Germany event. I really enjoy creative building, and I like an arcade style racer as well. Put the two together and nail the execution like this, you'll have me hooked for sure. Looking forward to the roadmap filling in. Very accountable to put it on the home screen. Cheers!

This game is utterly broken. I understand pre-release beta, but not being able to finish a single game on the hardest mode without crashing is a product that is simply not ready to be sold. Also now loses all meta progress on crash! Great game on normal mode. Will update review if the game gets un-broken.

This game is brutally boring and time consuming. PoE has low loot drop, big boring maps, lots of running around, "find the such-n-such" scavanger missions, and the dreaded timed retreival missions. The dungeons are dense with dead ends and overpowered monsters. Frustrating. Nearly everything about this game is frustrating. Lag will kill you the same way against the same horde repeatedly. You lose XP for deaths, so you sometimes must head to town and change your gear to progress, and often your town portal and map reveal will disappear. Because of the XP loss from deaths, many characters will end up stuck at a level much below maximum if they aren't invulnerable. The skill tree is amazingly complex, which makes for a very customizable character, though it seems each char has only 2-3 builds that will be strong and allow you to get to level 80+. I have 40 hours invested for one level 50 char, and i've only found 2 unique items, even though I'm using 65% increased magic find. Not sure why GGG would make this game so unrewarding...

On the positive, the community is nice and helpful (as typical for ARPGs). PoE is basically Diablo2 with better graphics and severely worse gameplay. Socketed gem system is cool. It allows active skills to be constantly adjusted and gives the freedom to use any move with all chars.

This is the sequal to the best competetive team shooter ever made. There is still a decent amount of servers available, though many use mods.
