Short, sweet, and to the point. Cool little incremental clicker kinda game. I beat it in a couple of hours and was hooked the whole time.

Music is a banger, concept is cool, and the upgrades feel fair and fun. For a couple bucks, it's a pretty sweet experience.

Yes, this game is essentially minesweeper with RPG mechanics. However, that isn't really a negative point. Minesweeper was classic for a reason.

This game is really good at making you think your way through situations, and explore all the options you have.

This game sells itself as an incremental game, which it is. Numbers definitely do go up in this game, but there's something more beneath the surface. Imagine the spellcrafting mechanics of something like Noita, and limited passive options unlike a lot of other incremental games. When you want an upgrade, you have to work towards it, either by casting spells or by paying the various resources you have to slowly crawl towards it via limited passive means. There's a certain satisfaction to be found in puzzling out just the right spells to weave together to make that goal happen, or having other goals going in the background while you make the perfect spellbook for whatever you're trying to do. Once you get further in, though, the depths of the systems can be almost overwhelming, even though you are never punished for just sitting back and thinking about it.

There are no microtransactions to be found here either, no cheap premium BS to arbitrarily screw you. On top of that, the music is absolutely banging. At the price tag they're asking, this is an easy recommendation.

It's basically what Diablo 3 should've been from the start, except better and actually receiving constant content updates from devs who clearly care what their players think.

Undertale is an extremely interesting addition to my library. At first, I was put off by the silly demeanor and graphics...though, as more and more of my friends talked about it, and I slowly became the last person to play it in my friends circle, I decided to sit down and give it an honest try.

Amazing story and characters, extremely well-fitting music, unique and interesting gameplay mechanics, and the developer's mostly-successful attempt at making almost every logical option available and consequential at the correct place all make this game come together as quite the experience. If you're at all interested in titles like Earthbound, Cave Story, and the like...Or if you're just looking for an RPG that's a little different than your typical off-the-shelf kind of game...give it a try.

Amazing. I can't believe this flew under my radar all the way until it was released. Every time I find myself going "I wish <x> feature was in", I end up finding it five minutes later. The ship combat feels sort of like upgraded FTL, as does the fleet and crew mechanics. Then there's sections where you can run around on planets and stations. The game is roughly 50/50 ship and ground combat, and both sections feel engaging and unique.

This game is what you'd get if you put Space Engineers, Minecraft, and Robocraft into a blender, and it's every bit as amazing as that makes it sound. You build a base, destroy enemies, and use their parts to upgrade your stuff. You explore the world and gather resources to make yourself bigger and badder, and the enemies just scale along for the ride. You can build an amazing plethora of machines. Giant harvesting/refining rigs? Check. Tiny, speedy buggies and planes? Check. Huge monstrosities devoted to flipping enemy machines and laughing at them? Yup. Crazy machines with shields, self-healing armor...all well within your grasp if you're willing to dream them up. Even in early access, the game already has an amazing amount of content, only compounded by the community interaction. Remember in Spore how your creation could appear in other people's games, and theirs in yours? Yep, TerraTech does that. Enemy contraptions can 'invade' your world, forcing you to face off against other machines similar in size and power to your own, crafted by mad scientists and explorers the world over. 10/10 experience, highly recommended. If any of this sounds pleasing to you, try the demo (but don't judge too harshly just based on the demo, it's missing a -lot- of features.)
