I guess there's nothing much to add. I just bought this to experience a new type of game, and suddenly I just crossed the 30 hour mark. My main complain is the performance. I guess I'm not the only one, but having a decent PC (Ryzen 5, 16 GB RAM, SSD, GeForce GTX 1060 6GB) it's a real shame that I have to play it in medium. Several crashes, and in 90% of them I have to manually restart my computer.

I wish the devs could optimize next game better.

Dragon Age: Origins is one of the best BioWare games made in the middle of the console fever that plagued all good RPGs and made them more simplified to appeal more people.

In DAO, BioWare tried to please its loyal fanbase with features like tactical view and the dialog system. It's not Baldur's Gate or NWN. This game excels in many areas including the story, the 'real time with pause' gameplay and the GUI wich feels made for PC gamers.

It's sad that the company left behind those kind of story-rich experiences and now it's more focused on copying another studios with multiplayer shooters.

Dragon Age: Origins is the last good RPG from BioWare. Thank goodness now we have Larian and Obsidian.
