Awesome Game! Early game is a little slow but once you get your bearings, it becomes extremely fun to tackle the bosses and engage in epic PvP.

However, once you reach Late Game and you have beaten all the V Bloods, stolen the shards from the server and essentially dominate the server, there really isn't anymore left apart from castle decorating. You cannot even expand your castle anymore as it is limited to the confines of the build location so all you can do now is probably grind for resources or idle and watch your beautiful castle only to get offline raided when you go to bed.

However, with the recent Gloomrot update, I believe Stunlock has made significant changes and QoL updates which changes and potentially fixes some of said issues, albeit, the update took awhile, I am liking the changes I've seen!

GTFO is an extremely co-op reliant game, to beat the multiple rundowns, you have to work together with your friends or teammates and communicate effectively.
It is an unforgiving and slow-paced game where strategy and communication is key

This game is riddled with bugs and nothing like the E3 trailer.

Some environments are way too dark, the lighting is terrible, the gameplay is janky as hell.

Co-op is barely playable when you pretty much have to restart multiple times when you get hit with the black screen of death in between cut scenes.

Speaking of cut scenes, the jump cuts and transitions between cut scenes are awful, one second you're getting an aerial view of the scenery, the next second you're straight up in someone's face having a close-up.

Co-op bugs are awful, the last fight we were met with a barrage of black screens we basically decided to quit.
Not to mention, we faced an awful issue where the progression in my friend's lobby didn't carry onto ours and prevented us from upgrading items we got later in the story such as the grappling hook and paraglider.

Some quests are bugged to ♥♥♥♥ and the ragdoll system is awful. NPCs T-Pose after getting killed and immortal zombies running around with half a body after getting sliced to pieces literally being unkillable and still attacking us. This even happened in a mission where we needed to clear all the infected...

We enjoyed Dying Light 1 a lot and despite its flaws, it wasn't bug-free the gameplay was still enjoyable in co-op. Dying Light 2 on the other hand is bug-infested and not to mention unplayable in co-op.

The storyline is very predictable and mediocre at best, the graphics look good but what's the point of a good-looking game when you cannot even play it.

P.S. These black screens we got could only be fixed if the host restarts the entire game. It's downright awful. Sometimes its just a loading black screen but most of the time if its longer than 30 seconds, you have to restart it. We waited a whole 15 minutes on a particular black screen because we didn't want to repeat the quest a 4th time...

Rage inducing, addictive, fun and "casual" game

Reminds me of my favourite childhood games like Social empires and other city building games

Also, the amount of detail that goes into this game is insane. You can zoom in and literally see the NPC interactions and they look so good!

Overall a decent game. There are some game breaking bugs that really affected my enjoyment of the game like suddenly being unable to interact with objects because of a bad angle, I had to look almost 90 degrees away from the items to interact with them.

The last part where the scrawny man just teleported to us and the roots thingy trapping people inside causing them to get stuck unable to back out or go through the roots etc.

The game is a little scary at first but after awhile, the bugs just get so annoying I can't bring myself to feel scared but more agitated.

If the devs fix the bugs, I'd definitely give it another shot but till then, probably a 4/10

Update: The game has received tons of updates and reworks since the time I made this review.

No Man's Sky features a ton of exploration and crafting.
The multiplayer is a little different from your standard kind where everyone simply progresses as if it were single player but are allowed to interact and help each other with their progress.
Something like maybe Warframe but think free roam and exploration.

Although I would very much rather a shared progress, I'm guessing that isn't intended by the devs nevertheless, still a fun game with loads to do

Got this game about a month ago and was hooked instantly. You can approach the game any way you like, a fan of PvP? Go join the alliance that literally rewards you for sinking other players!
Like finding treasure using treasure maps? Or solving riddles and doing some parkour? This games gotcha covered!
Like PvE and bossing? There's plenty!
Enjoy exploring islands and simply sailing the high seas? There's an alliance for that!
Or you just enjoy a simple and peaceful activity like fishing, you got it!

Many ways you can approach this game and progress! My only concern is that the SEA or Asia player base is small so it can be hard finding other players within the same region.

If you're an SEA or Asian player, feel free to join my Discord server at https://discord.gg/jMkS3abzGV

I was coerced by Brian and Yi Xuan to buy this game... Each run, I play upwards of 30 minutes to an hour and don't even realize it. So much fun mechanics and skills to master as well as being able to troll friends by stealing items.
I even got a bustling fungus nickname from Brian and Yi Xuan because I kept collecting them while playing Engineer. Our little inside-joke.

Then, we got Lu Yu to join us and played with a few other friends that we didn't even know have the game, Augustin and Brian's overseas school friend Louis. Tons of fun and rage moments as well.

Whenever something doesn't go our way though, we should always blame Brian because he's the most experienced.

Moral of the story: Blame Brian.

Zombie survival had never been more fun!

Aside from the slightly poor optimization, typical of this kinds of open world games like Rust and Ark: Survival Evolved, the mechanics are extremely fun.

Explore, Fight, Survive. With friends, I have enjoyed this game very much and there's just so much to do.

However, compared to other games like Ark, I feel this game is slightly lackluster in content but it's still in Alpha (for a few years alr btw)

Hopefully more content will be added as it took us only till Day 40+ to reach near end game level. With 3 players.

Still though, we havent done proper base building etc and explored the whole of Navezgane yet

Till then, we probably wont be stopping the game. Also, we play on increasing difficulty meaning, each horde night the settings will be turned up a notch and more zombies will spawn the next 7th night etc.
