When I was a child, I remember always picking up the black and green PS2 game case, and my imagination would run wild whenever I saw it, or opened it, looking through the pages of the little booklet that came with each copy. I knew it was scary, but it intrigued me. Eventually, I got the courage to ask my dad to play this game and let me and my brother watch. The intro was too scary and we barely made it to town. But eventually I started playing it myself. I was hooked.

I've been a life long Silent Hill fan since that moment in time. I have experienced joy, and sadness, and have seen the rise and fall of a great franchise.

Bloober team announces a SH2 Remake and I feel as if I get my hopes up too high. But, they did it. They perfectly remade this instant classic of a game and made an instant classic of their own. The uneasiness and the deep rooted fear that I had experienced all those years ago was perfectly established in this remake. Thank you Bloober, for taking me back to Silent Hill.
