I don't know where to begin, I loved the concept and style of the game but during my playthrough i encountered various glitches and bugs that kinda took me off the whole expirience (Not to mention that i had to restart a couple of times). Which is a shame, i really had high hopes for this game, reminded me a lot of The Long Drive but with an actual point, I think the procedural generated terrain is kinda cool but not really well implemented and not to mention the slow paced and kinda janky driving mechanic.
I did finish it after all, but got me kinda dissapointed and wondering if that was everything the game had to offer. I really wanna recommend this game, i can feel the interest behind it's creation and I did enjoy the customazible factor with the car, but theres more downs than ups in it's current state in my opinion. Idk if there is a chance that the devs will actually come back to polish some aspects of this game, but in the mean time i don't think i'ts worth buying.

I made my first review of this game a while ago when i had a few hours at it. Now i have over 60 hours and I can safely say, Darkwood is one of the best games i've ever played.
I would reccomend it to anyone looking for a true challenging survival horror expirience, criminally underated.

It might get repetetive at some points, but it keeped me entertained through all of it!

When I played Blood for the first time it absolutely kicked my ass and made me put it aside for a long time, but now that I Cultic, I would say its a perfect balanced between fun and hard action gameplay that perfectly honors the old boomer shooter games.
