Beautiful art, exciting soundtrack, and fun gameplay that forces you to try different strategies. Takes a lot of the good from SMT and Persona and removes a lot of the bad/boring. Easier than SMT but harder than Persona. Easily one of the best JRPGs to come out recently.

This game is an excellent starting point for the Yakuza series. The transition from action game to turn-based RPG feels great and fresh. Many unique jobs and skills, with some skills that once learned can be used regardless of class. A variety of mini-games and side content that'll definitely get you your money's worth.

Oh and you get to destroy everything with an orbital laser. That's all you need to know.
