It was difficult for me to judge if I should recommend it. I didn't play any Kao the Kangaroo gane before so it's my first time in 2025 so I don't have comparision how it felt when it was first released(2003). Despite of unresponsive controls and horrible camera, especially in the areas where you can't control it and you need to rely on exact angle It's worth to check it out, especially when it is very cheap.

It feels like connection between Crash Bandicoot and Rayman in terms of platforming. I played it on controller and as I understand that version was adjusted for steam release(as kao was not available on steam earlier, it was released few years ago as part of #BringKaoBack action on twitter).
The biggest issue of the game is poor controls and camera. Game itself is not as challenging as Crash or Rayman, but due to controls it might seem to be difficult at times - it's just unresponsive control of the game itself.

I played that demo at PGA(Poznan Game Arena) event and the one published now. I didn't play gamescom version so I can't really tell what's the difference between all of them. Same for the demo which was shared across journalists behind closed doors. I am comparing PGA and version shared during(actually just before) Steam Next Fest - The differences are not that singificant. Few things were improved a little bit and I can say it's a tiny bit better than PGA demo.

In short - It has a lot of potential but it requires a much more time to fix all the issues. There are many issues in basic mechanics like unresponsive movement and fight. Ranged weapons(In demo we had option to check bow only) are singificantly overpowered compared to melee weapon even if taking a shot takes long time. Also hitboxes seem not to work properly as sometimes it didn't register the hit even if it was clearly visible that enemy should receive damage. I am disappointed in lack of option to check how would magic work in remake- Developers could include some scrolls of magic spells like fireball or freeze, create a quest around it to show how potentially magic will work. That's a tip of the iceberg. There much more issues like dialogue options - you can skip them, but subtitles are not showing instantly - instead it is appearing letter by letter which is a cool effect, but in this case not neccessary I think. Animations are way too slow - e.g. cooking a meat takes way too much time(In most cases I would say it was much faster in original Gothic I, where you had to cook every piece individually). There are so many aspects of the game where remake can and should be improved that It would take an hour for me to write it all down(I am sure other players already shared them already)

From the good side - voice overs are very good(especially polish version) - I also played with english voice over, but personally I think polish version is much better. English sounds too typical british medieval for me. Maybe it is because I played gothic in polish since... forever? :D

And the most important question - Is the game worth the wait? If final version will be similar to the one presented in nyras demo - I wouldn't even buy it during first few months and not for that price obviously. If graphics of Gothic is too ugly for you - there is even a UE4 remaster or DX11 so I think that's the best option to get that "modern" feel.

I hope that Alkimia will take their time to fix all the issues and don't rush game release at all costs as in current state it's better to replay good, old Gothic I.

I heard many good regarding Driver games and series. I didn't play it previously, just heard. I also seen many positive steam reviews regarding that franchise entry and decided to give it a shot. I will tell you one : I think it's pure nostalgia as in game where driving is one of the most important aspect... it feels like a soap. 78 era is terrible in that regard, 2006 is bit better. I cannot recommend it even if I finished it. I was curious if it will get better overtime, but... not a much of change. Not enough to recommend it for anyone to play,

It's more like interactive movie than a game itself - It was primarly made for PS3 and for some reason PC port of game played on a gamepad has some issues(e.g it does not read right analog stick properly) - in fact there is a fix for it, but I think combination of keyboard+mouse will work the best as due to that my "choices" were determined by control issues :D Apart from that I recommend it - cool thing is that your playthrough and ending might be different to mine as game contains about 17 endings.

It's a mix between batman arkham series(combat style) and GTA in terms of rest in short - Is it underrated gem as some say? I don't know - It has a lot of potential if there will be ever sequel to Sleeping Dogs as game was released long time ago - but If they would expand on Sleeping Dogs it might be a really great game which could be something refreshing in terms of open-world GTA like games.

It is a NFS Hot Pursuit sequel with open world map(I think it is the same setting like in NFS:HP) but expanded with few new areas. In terms of gameplay - not much has been changed - you either race / play a cop role where you catch racers - Addition is the fact that as a racer you can upgrade your cars and you select two pursuit tech(power-ups like boost, spike traps, emp) and as it is open world now - cop chases are introduced but to be honest... it's not fun at all - and for me, open world aspect there was not required as branching roades are not that common, where you can trick cops or just simply dumb them

Story Mode Review:
Finished it for the first time and what I dislike the most is just few options to earn additional money besides doing heists(which are part of the story itself) and some activites, which are tied to specific characters(e.g collecting nuclear waste as Trevor). GTA V is a great game as next entry in the franchise - Rockstar decided to go back to vibrant, colorful setting - In short - if you enjoyed GTA:San Andreas and GTA: Vice City - it's worth it to playthrough the story

It's basically DLC to Black Flag as standalone game - It's recommended first to play Black Flag as game assumes, that you already played it.

It's a great FPS game with addition of nanosuit, which allows you to approach game in different ways - you prefer to be stealthy? You can attach a silencer to each weapon, use cloak capability of your nanosuit - you want just to shoot everything out of you way? It's also possible and you can utilize of shield , which consumes damage taken before it affects your heath(that's what I did entire game :D)

I don't think, that remaster and Original game differs that much, so if you have old 2008 Crysis - no need to buy remaster and some comments say, that in some aspects it is worse than original(didn't play original, just saw some gameplays, so can't really tell if that's true)
