I can see there is a good game underneath, but this game suffers from way too many performance issues to make it enjoyable. I therefore can not recommend it. It runs very poorly on both my systems, and both systems should be more then enough to run max settings. I've tried throubleshooting the problems but the freezing and stuttering keeps happening.

It lives up to the hype. It's a very good game that some big shoes to fill. It succeeded but it's not perfect.

The graphics and poor texturework on some models (the writing on the policecars and signs outside rooms) is sometimes so bad it takes you out of the experience a little bit, because everything else is rendered beautifully. It's a gorgeous game.

the second gripe i have is from the moment Mr X gets introduced, it's nifty at first but the dude always finds you even if u dont make a single sound. If u have to be at a specific location to do something like develop film or opening a safe and he lingers there it gets annoying fast, because there is no way to make him go away like in the original. Bullets,grenades, special ammo nothing seems to stop him. He's not scary because he's easy to dodge but if he sticks to 1 spot it can really mess up your rankings.

For the rest, I recommend this game to anyone looking for a good Resident Evil.

This is a very good game. But a good game with a LOT of flaws, and a lot of really bad game design tbh.
The story is very good and it all interconnects, but the way u get some quests or can all together miss important ones, or get level 34 quests when your level 6 and so on is not good. Also, this game does have a tutorial but nothing is explained very well in the game itself and has so much going on, that the keybindings not always are this inituitive. It also in my case has changed mouse sensitivy and what the scroll wheel does on a whim without me touching it. This has led me to come stuck in almost first person perspective for a lot of the game and that hurts the combat. If you push past these little annoying things tough, it's a fantastic game.

Definitely not for the weak harted. The community is toxic as f***, and it's riddled with people shouting gibberish in their mic. It's a rage inducing game. I got way too many hours in this.... don't play this if you get mad easily.

Very good simple rpg with little kitties as the main characters. Oh , and there are dragons.
good game, i enjoyed my time with it.

Good game but it falls in the "ubisoft the game" categorie. Towers, maps full with sidestuff that's boring and unnecesary.
Also the boss fights are really weird. It's fun and has a good story though.

Probably the best in the series. Good solid shooter with a good story line.

It's a good game. But it falls into the same traps as it's predecessor did: Too many quicktime events, and too many "shoot this many bad guys arena's" before you are allowed to progress the story line. I like to have the option of doing everything stealth.
I also don't quite like the weapon shop mechanic, i tought that was handled better in the original.

Now u have to explore for coins/currency where in the orginal game you acquired them as you progressed along the storyline. Sometimes i juts want to play for the story and not all trhe tidbits around it. Collectibles are good but not if you shove them in my face all the time.

That being said: still a really good, well rounded game. A solid 8/10, but the orginal was better.

Where to begin? It's a decent game, but not one that belongs in the Devil May Cry universe. it has anice aesthetic but that's about it. The story is somewhat of a carbon coby from DCM3, which is imo a much much better game.

The combatd is flawed, too slow, and you can't combo because there are color coded enemies on which only 1 of your weapons will work, so a scoring a long combo to get points is out of the question, not that it matters anyway.

The combat "style" meter you see, is tied to how much damage you do and really easy to maintain. There's no challenge in it what so ever and makes the game uber easy. Alsotaking hints from GoW, your weapons range goes accros the screen. This is not how DMC should be.

Devil trigger is absolutely useless because for some reason it launches all your enemies in the air. It's forcing you to go aerial, which is neat, but in other DMC games you had the CHOICE to do that and i was not a thing forcibly pushing mechanics.

ALso where other DMC guys are riddled which exceptionally well designed boss battles, this one has only ONE memorable one, the bob bardas fight, and even that is way too easy.

Conclusion: the levels and general aestethic look really nice, but it's gameplay that this game is lacking, a game needs more then just eyecandy to be good. It's like all other Ninja Theory games: they show promise but it's that "Almost good, but not quite there yet" why their games are so mediocre.

It'sa really solid adventure game with one huge flaw, especially in the beginning. It litterally spams u constantly with QTE's of the "mess it up and u die" kind. Memorizing is key here, but if u get initial onslaught of them, there is good game with a solid story behind it.
