After nearly 30 hours of gametime, I have lost interest in finishing this game. The way the death system functions aswell as the amount of downtime there is has ruined the remaining good bits this game had. After you beat the desert, this game becomes a backtracking fiesta.

I locked my fps to 30 because I couldn't bear the microstutter, got used to it, it's fine now.
This game is amazing, its such a refreshing breath of air compared to dark souls.

I feel like I haven't given this game a fair enough chance, i'll try to play more of it.
For now it's staying on positive. However i'm still convinced you can't really go anywhere without paying.

After how good F.E.A.R. 1 was and how mixed the review of F.E.A.R. 2 were, i had little expectation about it, but in the end it was better than i thought it was going to be. It was a pretty fun experience.

Thought it was time to give my review of Kenshi.

I found this game through a friend who also recommended it to me, and despite it being from a genre i initially had no interest in, i did end up putting hundred of hours into it and here is why:

Kenshi is a strategy/RPG/Open world game set in an apocalyptic world. But in reality, you might aswell throw out the strategy part out of this game, this is much more an open world rpg than anything else, the strategy part of this game really just comes down to getting as much people as you can and arming themselves to the teeth so you can throw them at the enemy.

The real reason why this game is so amazing is just how free you are in it, there is no set goal other than what you impose on yourself. You could play as a drug farmer, smuggling hemp inside cities for a big markup, or you could capture people to be sold as slaves (lol). You could play as a pacifist merchant that travels the world, selling your findings to people, or you could build a mega city with hundreds of people in it. Or even play a solo character that makes its living out of breaking out into shops and stealing people pocket.

It is completely up to the player to decide what they want to do with the given freedom. Pair this freedom with an interesting world where every region has completely different threats and unique hazardous environment and you get probably (in my opinion) the most innovative and fun rpg out on steam.

One of the best and most fun free shooter out there! Fistful of frags is a game that perfectly recreates the feel of old western shootouts. It's firearm and melee mechanics all blend together in a nice mix of inconvenience and balance, each firearm has its pros and drawbacks, as in them being old firearms from a different period of time. It comes down to; unload on your opponent until you can't, melee or reload and then resume shooting. This all works well due to the kicking mechanic of the game which ties everything together. The kick allows you to push enemies away from you which slows them down for a couple seconds (giving you time to take a shot at them) or you can punish opponents who come too close to you. Opponents can also retaliate by baiting you into a kick which leaves you very vulnerable for a short period of time.

All in all, for a free game, FoF has a surprising amount of depth and gives the player the luxury of choice. You can pick which weapons you feel most comfortable with, along with extras such as stronger boots that deals more damage and kick enemies further, knuckle braces to bash the gun out of your enemy hand and other abilities like being able to throw your gun at your opponent. Very recommended.

Played on Hard, finished in around 13 hours (couple hours afk'ed)

This game really wasn't scary to me. It was tense at certain points, but the moment you understand how the alien functions, all of the fear factor goes away. It only takes a set amount of time before the aliens goes from investigating around to find you to jumping back into the ventilation. And you can easily abuse this mechanic by walking as soon as hes goes into them.

Other than that, the game was a pretty good stealth/horror game. Unfortunately, it was a bit too long for my taste and too much time was spent around the boring androids...
