Although I'm 2130 total on OSRS with a 1b+ bank (dole2k) I decided to bite the bullet and see how RS3 is holding up.

It gets a lot more hate than it deserves in my honest opinion. Yes, the game is riddled with microtransactions but aside from membership I have not invested into any of these, nor do I intend to.

The game has a beautiful looking world, full of interesting quests and stories, and the soundtrack is top-tier.

The gameplay has a high skill ceiling, much more than OSRS does but is radically different and may not be everyone's cup of tea. The bossing and raids feel great, and it isn't incredibly time-consuming to make it to the combat endgame.

I recommend giving this game a shot, especially if you have a membership already or have played in the past.
