This is the most fun I have had with a game in AGES

If you enjoyed the first Moonlighter, this one is going to blow you away!
The roguelike elements are superb -- a complete rework that makes every run through a dungeon exciting and challenging!

One of my favorite parts was experimenting with the different weapon types and trying out the new playstyles for each one! I am a big fan of the big ole greatsword~ high damage go brrrrrr

Having access to different perks with the potion and tech girlie helped a ♥♥♥♥ ton, too.
Though even with boosted potions, each dungeon was still a gamble based on my ability to strategize and dodge! ...which is something I def have to work on.

A nice surprise that I didn't expect was how npcs had so much personality! AND THE SHOP MECHANIC???? MWAH chef's kiss. Things feel a lot easier imo, with prices being easier to manage and different pedestals offering different perks to maximize profits!

After hitting the end of the alpha, I am more excited than ever to see this game completed.

If you are going into this game expecting it to be just like animal crossing, you are going to be disappointed.
Don't write it off yet, though!

Chill Town is a very relaxing, low stakes game with no pressure to achieve anything at a deadline.
It offers a very low stress vibe, with elements such as farming, town building, bug/fish/monster catching, and decorating!
Money and resources are an easy grind, there is an open market for players to sell items to one another, as well as a way for you to visit other player's towns! My favorite feature is being able to explore the map for more resources and those really fun item chests through flying to other islands! There are about 6 terrains to explore, each offering a new experience every time you go there, with different resources being available and an occasional new NPC you can bring to your town!

This game is a labor of love from the dev team which, from my point of view, were mostly silent before the 1.0 release.
Proactive updates have been made to fix bugs that they have been made aware of on the discussions page here on Discord.
There definitely needs to be some polish for the game but as it is now, there is a lot of content to explore and relax with! I fully believe in the team at Low-Hi Tech to take the feedback of the community and continue to surprise us with fixes and updates!

If you are looking for something to relax to with amazing music, cute characters, and lots of adventure: this is gonna be a game you don't wanna sleep on.

I played this game about a year ago for the first time and didn't get it. Couldn't figure out really what the game was supposed to be. Only put 90 mins into it, it lost my attention quickly.

But then I started seeing clips on Twitter/X for it and it caught my attention again. So I booted it back up.

And I am so glad I did. This game has captured my heart. There is always something to do, my favorites being farming, bug catching, and going into the deep mines every Sunday when John's shop is closed.

The characters that come to visit, and eventually live here, are all unique and have such fun personalities! My favorite girl is Rayne <3 My greenhouse girlie!

The only downside to this game is sometimes it is hard to figure out how to use certain things or how a new item works due to the vague description. I just got the Gachapon machine and I had to figure out I had to pull dinks (in game money) to my inventory to use it. That is really my only complaint though. Most of the time I still find it fun trying to figure things out on my own but google has been a great help too!

Where this game definitely took inspiration from Animal Crossing, I feel like it does more to keep the player busy and invested. I love how you don't have to stick to the irl day/night cycle and that the game has its own flow of time and how sleeping is important! I was shocked when I was out past midnight in the middle of the desert when my stamina was cut 90% because I was sleepy! Really relatable because that is what happens to me irl when I am tired too LOL

Overall, if you love expressing your creativity, give this game a chance. I look forward to see it continue to grow. No regrets buying early access. <3

This game is a like a breath of fresh air for me.

As a support main girly, I love playing games where I can do a lot of healing and mitigation to help my team.
There aren't a lot of games where I feel confident in my role -- to be able to buck and weave while pushing towards victory.
But with Supervive? Oh my god.
The controls were easy for me to pick up and I push myself to be the best Elluna player that I can be!
I'm so happy! It was as if this character was made for me!

I've always avoided ranked playing in every game I've played before but for the first time EVER I have been playing ranked and LOVING IT. It is such a rush to to try get the most healing out of the match and to see my ranking go up!

The player base so far has been really pleasant too! I haven't been cursed out or raged on at all, and I have been playing since the closed beta!

Thank you Theorycraft Games for making a game that brings one lil gamer girls heart so much joy.

By far my favorite game of 2024 -- and possibly my favorite farming sim ever.

Cute aesthetics. Engaging community/town folk. Fun mining, combat, fishing, and farming.

This adorable game puts some good ole razzle dazzle on everything.
There is magic. Ability to level up skills. And every where you go you can find some sweet, sweet loot --
which can be donated, sold, or used to make items such as food or crafting! WHICH SELLS FOR EVEN MOOORRRRE GOLD.
I find myself hoarding all my ingredients and then going all out in one day to see how much I can make in one shipment and BOY is it satisfying.

Let's also talk about the CHARACTERS. These are some of the best fleshed out npcs I have seen in a hot minute. I don't think I have come across repeat conversations more than twice with all the time I have put in. Each character has their own personality and the developers are letting them SHINE. Usually I find the character I want to romance and focus them while neglecting the rest of the town but in this game it is different -- I like to say that I have a few besties :3

The fact that this game is Early Access and it already has so much that I crave in a farming sim is HNNNNNNG I am so glad I got the game and look forward to seeing it grow from here!

The characters are super cute, the art is gorgeous, and even the gacha elements are generous!
I love being able to increase the bonds with my favorite characters in order to get a new skin!
The gameplay is fun too, especially with friends!

Matchmaking is a hit or miss, I have found myself getting kicked from lobbies more than not.
Hosting your own lobby seems to work just fine though and fills up rather quickly most time!

I'm keeping my eye out on this game, I look forward to seeing it progress and grow! Also hoping the community stays positive while we go through the growing pains!
