A remaster of Virtua Fighter 5 (Final Showdown version), with new graphic engine (Dragon Engine) and rollback netcode.

PLUS :
- It's Virtua Fighter
- It looks modern and good
- It has rollback netcode
- It has Legendary Pack
- It has Tekken Pack
- Online play
- Awesome wallpapers for Anniversary Edition

MINUS :
- Can't shake this feeling whenever playing any remaster (feels old)
- I still prefer the art direction of vanilla VF5
- I did get good connections, but there were also bad connections (300 ping)
- The Legendary Pack is only costumes and 1 stage
- Tekken Pack DLC is not included in Anniversary Edition
- Offline mode is very limited, arcade only (no special sparring, score attack, license challenge)
- Wallpapers only in 1080p res, no higher resolutions (no 4K)

As a fan of VF, this is a must buy for me, especially since this is the first VF game on PC (after VF2 made it decades go). Unfortunately, the single player mode is very lacking, and the meat and butter, the online play is also so so. But still, the gameplay is top notch, and this is a very pure fighting game without any gimmicks (supers, slowmo, animals, projectile, etc).

Just a pure 3d fighting game like the old days.

This game is 2 steps forward, and 8 steps back..

Steps Forward:
- The newest teams update
- Finally "A" button for every confirmation/ skip.

Steps Back:
- The graphic (eFootball PES 2021 is still better)
- The physic (Floaty)
- The FPS (locked to 60 fps?? Why?)
- The League (Where?)
- The Team (Why so few of them? At least there are still Arsenal and MU, so I still can humiliate MU with Arsenal, lol)
- The Master League (or to be precise, No Master League)
- The Packs Nonsense
- Etc

Better stick with the old PES, rather than this.

Duh.. I bought this because, well, this is the only SBK game available right now. I keep looking everyone said this was re-skinned game from MotoGP 21 / 22 or even 18 or 19?? Personally, this game reminds me of MotoGP 21. Anyone who have played these games should have known this.

Pros :
- SBK license

Cons :
- Braking (the worse braking ever, I finally remember why I really dislike MotoGP 21)
- Very prone to crash a lot (the rider, not the game)
- The bike dancing a lot after corner exit (well, with full throttle, unless you want pressing RT / R2 / ZR gently)

I'm just a casual who love racing games, but I don't understand why Milestone thought it was a good idea to make all their bikes games increasingly harder to play. From MXGP to MotoGP, these games becoming more and more difficult to play. These newer games have serious problem with braking. After MotoGP 20, trying to brake in MotoGP 21, 22 and this SBK game almost feel impossible to get right.

MotoGP '22 is one of the best MotoGP games for me. Sure, it's not an easy game to play. Trying to master the control of the bike is gonna take some time. But when it clicked, you'll realize it's so good.

Pros :
- AI is now behave like riders, they follow the racing lines, and they also quite good anticipating our movements to not hit our controlled rider.
- This is the first MotoGP game that I feel controlling the bike with first person camera is doable, and not just some novelty. Try to play the Moto 3 or Moto 2 first, to learn how to play with first person camera, since the bike are slower, so it's much easier to play (My favourite is first person camera #2, since it's more dynamic compared to #1)

Cons :
- Braking. Mastering the braking will take some times (perhaps a long time). Because now leaning the bike is very smooth, if you can't stop the bike properly, which is hard compared to previous games, you will like likely going wide, a lot.

Comparison :
- '19 : Easy to pick up and play. Let just say this is the arcade version of this series.
- '20 : If '19 is arcade, then this one is simcade. It's still easy to play, although not as easy as '19. If you just want to play MotoGP games, and don't need the latest release, you can try with one of these.
- '21 : I don't remember much, except I crashed a lot when I played this.
- '23 : I didn't play much. Let just say, I didn't really like it, so I did ask for refund.

Learning the track layout without aids, knowing where the braking zones, while playing with first person camera is really fun. It's also hard, so I usually only play briefly in 1 track (Qatar). But when I just want to enjoy the game on different tracks, I just turn on the autobrakes. Remember to turn off the trajectory aid, since it will not help us understanding the tracks layout.

This game is really really bad, no wonder this was the last game for this series. I used to love this series, because the handling was simple and fun, but now it's overly complicated. This is even worse than MXGP 2020. I wished I could still refund this game.

Technical Review
- Only support up to 1080p resolutions (fixable)
- No mouse support, keyboard only.
- Support high framerates, thankfully (I'm up to 144 fps)
- Only 2 graphic settings, resolution options and fullscreen or window mode
- No option for key binding

The game is not recommended playing with keyboard, because the button prompt still showing for the controller. Hopefully, someday it will be ironed out (I doubt it, though).

This is actually a nice short on-rail shooter game.
Unfortunately, this game still has many bugs, which never fixed by the developer.
For example, if you want to play at higher fps, you have to change the graphic setting, from fullscreen to windowed, and then press alt+enter. This is needed because the game will lock the fps to 60 after every each level intros. And this also sometimes don't work, so you need to exit the game and try it again.
The graphic is mixed of bag, colourful, but somewhat dated. Even PD Orta (an oirginal xbox game) feels more impressive than this.
There is no way to manually map the input. Seriously, some functions will be better if mapped to the mouse rather than keyboard.
We can hide the game ui, but it will be much better if we can adjust it manually, rather than only turn it on or off.

Fortunately, the control itself is actually pretty good, way better than the newer HoTD Remake. The music is also very nice.
There is not many on-rail shooter games nowadays, and it can be hard trying to find a good one. This game is actually good, unfortunately, this port kinda lackluster.

This game perhaps one if not the the beginner friendly MotoGP games for someone who just looking to play this series casually. The newer one becoming harder and harder (worst for me is MotoGP 21, I only played it to take photos). People said it make the newer games more realistic.. I said it makes the newer ones more frustating and less accessible.

I really really don't like this remake. Everything feels bad.
I don't really mind the graphic, but there are moments you hardly see the enemies, because it's pretty dark.
No raw input? Because the mouse feels sluggish.
The performance is also not acceptable for this game, it's very hard to get consistent FPS, jumping from 40-90 FPS everytime.
Very long loading time at the start of the game.
My main problem with this game is the feel of shooting the zombie is not good, not fun at all.
Really disappointed with this remake.

Refunded for now.
