Cyberpunk 2077 is undoubtedly a must play game for anyone who enjoys sci-fi or fantasy. For anyone who has ever played the witcher series it's impossible not to notice cd project red's extreme passion for creating vast worlds filled to the brim with lore and history. This game is not however the witcher (oh gee really?). Cyberpunk is not nearly as polished as the witcher and so for anyone expecting to see a game on the level of greatness of the witcher take a step back, you aren't going to find that here. What Cyberpunk does offer is exactly what the title implies, an absolute dream of a world filled with futuristic tech and culture set in the year 2077. That's not to say that any other aspects of the game are bad but they're simply not up to par with the level of polish that you would expect from CD Project Red.
People hugely interested in competitive first person shooters or driving simulators might be very disappointed with the gameplay of Cyberpunk. Most of the actual gameplay involved in Cyberpunk has you shooting enemies or driving around town to the next area where you'll shoot more enemies. This is where personally as someone who very much enjoys competitive shooters and shooters in general I very much disliked the gameplay. For me, it feels extremely clunky sometimes to control V and shoot many of the guns in this game. There simply isn't the range for as dynamic movement and aim mechanics offered by other games that have extremely well respected movement and shooting mechanics like Apex Legends for example. I get that this game isn't trying to be Apex Legends but sometimes certain games do something so well that it feels almost like the bare minimum now for other games to have some of the same mechanics or better mechanics. In first person shooters you're trapped seeing through the eyes of the protagonist and so in turn essentially you become that protagonist while you're running around and kicking butt. The main character in this game is basically the biggest up and coming badass night city has seen in a long time and yet I never really felt all that badass while playing as V. The same goes for driving in this game. You would expect that a vehicle set in 2077 would handle like a dream but it simply doesn't. It just overall doesn't feel very satisfying to me sometimes to do anything that involves me moving my controller in this game. It's not like it's bad but it's not like it's great.

If my recommendation for this game was a bit confusing and has you second guessing whether you'll purchase it or not, don't. This game is definitely something you want to experience. For all of the bad there is there's also tons and tons of good. I'm not quite sure I would say that CD Project Red nailed it but if you're even mildly interested in playing a futuristic bounty hunter with tons of awesome looking tech and gadgets, do it.

Game is great. Hackers sometimes 3 matches in a row however, not so much. You'll occasionally have a hacker teleport on you as if someone was hiding behind you but fret not friend, it wasn't a camper, just a hacker. Campers do exist though but not nearly as much as you'd think. This game is 10x more enjoyable with a friend to help with the insane amount of duo cheese.
